Great placements, infrastructure, faculty and the college life.
Placements: Over 45 successful companies visit the college every year for placements, for the final year students of UG and PG. The interviews are held on the college campus itself for the interested candidates. A few amongst those companies are Facebook, Google, HSBC, Infosys, Genpact, DE Shaw & Co, Amazon, Purple Talk, Uber, Think Tankers, Zomato, Deloitte, Wipro, Paperboat, and many more. The placement cell of the college is the in-charge of all this and will solve any queries or questions regarding the placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge campus with separate buildings for UG & PG courses. The internet facility is provided to the staff and students for free of cost. The internet lab is equipped with 30 computers with the internet connection all the time. The college has a huge auditorium which can accommodate 800 people at a time. It is fully equipped with the latest audio and visual technology. The smell of the books in the huge library is mesmerising. The huge library has a collection of over 60,000 books. It also lets the students access e-journals from J-GATE-Informatics. The classrooms of all sizes can be found, and that can accumulate up to 100 students are also available, fully equipped with wooden chairs and desks for each student. There are the latest projectors and sound system and a black or white or both the boards available in each class. There is a throw ball field & a volleyball court and the rest of the sports like basketball, tennis, badminton, are played indoors in the newly built indoor stadium which is fully equipped with all the sports equipment. The students' favourite place is the cafeteria which serves food very hygienically. The canteen provides the lunch, snacks, and beverages for the students with youthful music playing in the background to re-energize and refresh the students.
Faculty: The lecturers are very experienced in their field and are very polite and approachable all the time. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The classes conducted are interactive which help us to see many perspectives of many different students in the class. The lectures are very engrossing and educative.
Other: One gains a lot of confidence, experience and a lot of certificates in this college as there are innumerable opportunities coming ones way every day. The compulsory certificate course in sports for the non-NCC and NSS students help the students remain physically active. There are many clubs in the college one can join like, The Communis club, The Rhetoric club, Smile, La Fiesta, Mosaic any many others. The college follows a CBCS ( Choice Based Credit System). There are many courses available for the students apart from the core course like, the elective course, foundation courses, add-ons, etc.
The students can also join the NSS ( National Social Service) or the NCC (National Cadets Corps) of the college.
