Review of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering and Technology, Thanjavur.

Placements: Placements at this college in our course are good. Around 80% of students get placed in reputed companies during the placement drive in our college. The highest salary package offered in our course is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Appz Global, ESAF Bank, and Decathlon.

Infrastructure: Our college is very beautiful. It has a campus. There are separate hostels for boys named St. Mary, and a girls' hostel named St. Augustine. There is a beautiful catholic style building. This college has various sports events like basketball, volleyball, and cricket.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many of them are foreigners. The course curriculum is relevant. This course makes students ready for the industry. Semester examinations are moderately difficult. Around 80-90% of students clear their exams.

It is the best college for an MBA.

Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities. Placements for the senior batch were good, and ours will start in September. The highest, lowest, and average salaries offered were 8 lakhs, 2.5 lakhs, and 4 lakhs, respectively. Most companies visiting our college are marketing and finance oriented. About 30% of our students get internships right out of college.

Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped with systems that each student can use individually. In addition to the departmental library, there is a central library with adequate books. The sports and games are good, and the MBA classrooms are air-conditioned. Our college has the best canteen, and the food is delicious. The hostel room is not bad.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and really good at teaching the Anna University syllabus. The ratio of students to teachers was really good. However, there are more exams in a year, and the faculty is spoon-feeding you subjects. There is no business exposure or additional classes for self-development.
