SPICE Students Gain Hands-On Branding Expertise in Industry-Led Module
November 18, 2025: St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education (SPICE) recently conducted its Brand Management module, led by Karan Chawla, Founder and CEO of Jokotta Discoveries. With over two decades of experience in brand management, marketing, and sales, Chawla brought real-world insights to the classroom.
The module focused on practical learning, covering brand strategy, tone and personality creation, and data-driven consumer insights for effective positioning. Students explored how to craft compelling brand stories, monitor digital visibility, and measure brand recall.
Interactive sessions included case studies, brainstorming, and exercises on consumer behavior, encouraging students to think like brand strategists. The program concluded with final presentations where students developed complete brand campaigns, including positioning maps, taglines, and audience segmentation.
SPICE emphasizes experiential learning, blending theory with implementation to prepare students for industry challenges. This module equips future communication professionals with strategic and creative skills essential for modern brand management.
SPICE Students Attend Mumbai Press Club Session on Judiciary and Press Freedom

August 12, 2025: As part of their Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication training, students from St Pauls Institute of Communication Education recently attended “Holding the Government to Account: the role of an independent judiciary and a free press” at the prestigious Mumbai Press Club.
The keynote speaker, Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) Abhay Oka, retired judge of the Supreme Court of India, shared deep insights on the vital connection between an independent judiciary and a free press, and how both play a critical role in safeguarding democracy. This unique learning opportunity aligns with SPICE’s mission to provide postgraduate students in Journalism, Mass Communication, and Digital Media with real-world industry exposure beyond the classroom. Such events help students gain practical understanding of governance, press freedom, and ethical reporting — essential skills for future media professionals.

August 4, 2025: Yesterday marked a beautiful beginning at St Pauls College for Women as the first-year students were welcomed with a Freshers’ Party that was more than just a festive gathering — it was an embrace into a community that says, “you belong here.” The celebration was filled with laughter, music, dancing, and games that helped break the ice and create lasting memories. The vibrant energy of the event was matched by moments of connection and warmth, making every newcomer feel right at home. A highlight of the evening was the crowning of Ms. Ishwari as Ms. Fresher and Ms. Angelina as the Runner-Up, both radiating grace and confidence that made a lasting impression.
