Your sanctuary for the next three years.
Placements: The Campus Placement Cell of St. Stephen's College is a student society. It is a very active and readily accessible. It brings probably the largest number of placements as compared to all other colleges of Delhi University. Almost all the courses get the placement opportunities. In the field of B.Sc. Hons. Chemistry there are opportunities for placement but they are too few after the undergraduate degree. The average package may range from 5~6 Lacs. But most of the students prefer to go for further education. As for internships there are many chances of getting them. Most of the undergraduates apply for intern ships and get them in reputed institution as TIFR, IISC, IIT. 3 students from 1st year got selected for HOMI BHABHA CENTRE FOR Science EDUCATION, TIFR recently. Out of about 420 admissions per year 80 sutdents are placed.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is quite good. It has a seperate Science block with large and well furnished classrooms. Rooms have proper ventilation and each room have at least two AC's. Chemistry department have two labs for undergraduate students and seperate labs for teachers which have ample equipments. Library of St. Stephen's College is quite large and have over thousands of books. The library is divided into seperate section for each course. It has seating capacity of about 100 students. College provides e-library and Wi-Fi which works at an average quality. Getting residence in college is quite difficult but those who get are the lucky ones. There the facilities are good and the ambience of the college is tranquilizing. Cafeteria is quite big and Science dhaba is seperate for Science block. It has a Gym, large football ground and space for all other sort of sorts.
Faculty: Faculty for our course is lively and they will be with you in the times of need they are teachers for their role in college and behave as your guide almost all the time. We should feel free to contact them any time we need them and which all of them have excelled. All the teachers who teach us have a doctorates. They are no doubt knowledgeable and are really experienced. The course curriculum makes a student to be able to fave the society and make necessary corrections to it teaches human values and makes us understand the necessity of being virtuous. Chemistry honours course provides the insight in all aspects of chemistry and to build a solid foundation in the subject to choose a career in academics and research.
Other: Chemistry is the branch of Science that fascinates me the most. The smell of chemicals in chemistry laboratory gives me pleasure. Understanding chemistry requires analytical and problem solving mind examining and interpreting results and making evaluation based on limited information and these qualities I possess. The curriculum of my course best as it starts from the fundamental and gets bigger slowly. The college is the north campus which is surrounded by many other colleges and thus its fests and crowd are very good. There are more than 50 societies in the college and events occur almost regularly in the college. Many scholarships are provided by the college, out of about 420 admissions 100 students gets full tuition fee reimbursement.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty and their teaching style. It provides great training.
Placements: Generally, students from our course do not attend for placements, but the placement to student ratio is 1:10. Job profile offered to us is generally of data scientists or based on the technical skills that you have achieved throughout your course. In our batch, only one out of 5 students who applied for internship got selected at Deutsche Bank. Overall below 10% of students got an internship if we include those who do not apply for these.
Infrastructure: We always will have a problem with the infrastructure of our hostel in terms of cleanliness and facilities. The college provides separate lecture theaters for science classes which are good enough. You will spend your most of the time there, and it is comfortable. Moreover our labs are somewhat old in terms of apparatus and methods we use.
Faculty: In terms of faculty, the college is far better than other Delhi University colleges, but still, students feel that they are not qualified enough. Some teachers are exceptional though which are maintaining their bar. The course curriculum is too hectic, and you won't enjoy your college life. The college conducts classes from 9 am to 1 pm, and then they conduct labs of 3 hours in which our whole time will be finished. But despite these negatives in this college, our department trains an individual to be industry-ready.
Other: Scholarships offered to students are pretty normal. Events organised are not that open, but they are good enough.

Mess and canteen food is good and are at affordable price. There are good medical facilities where a doctor is available once in a week otherwise nurse is available here. Faculty: 1. teachers are helpful, well qualified and welcoming. Teaching qualities are excellent. They will make us to study from the class itself. 2. Ciurse curriculum is absolutely relevent and is affordable for a normal average student. Yes. It will make a student industry ready.
Other: 1. I am passionate about learning chemistry and a good base that I have in the subject lead me to take the same subject. The best things in my course is that there are a wide range of branches in my course which gave me an opportunity to choose my favourite branch. 2. I would like to have more Industry or field related study to be included in my course. 3. Chemsoc is the chemistry society in the college which host a lot of festivals and organisations throughout the year. Annual fest in the college is known to be HARMONY. Campus crowd is good and welcoming too. Various scholarship are available for students for their excellence in various fields be it academic, sports, attendance, seminars, paper presentations etc. And there are a lot of societies in our college namely chemsoc, choreosoc, photosoc, music society, maths society, economics forum, planning forum, etc. Which makes the college life more enjoyable and active.

The college has really good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges in India. Every year a lot of students after completing their undergraduate course go to foreign countries for their masters or PhD. About 60% of students every year go for internships. Campus placement cell looks into the matter of placements in various field of interest. Last year, many of our students got selected in several multinational companies. The highest salary package offered was about 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was about 10.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure in Delhi University. Our science block is equipped with all modernised facilities. Labs are awesome with all safety measures. There is an excellent Wi-Fi connection all over the campus. Hostel rooms are spacious and well furnished. The mess is also good, providing a wide variety of food for every student. The college cafe is the most interesting place on our campus. It serves a wide range of fast foods and a variety of dishes.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly knowledgeable and helpful. They have awesome teaching technique. They are highly qualified in their respective fields. The teaching quality is the best in our college as compared to other colleges in Delhi University. The course curriculum is very relevant as it is very important.
Other: I have chosen this course as I like chemistry a lot. It is very important to me as a subject. I like the subject because it's very related to our daily life.

Satisfied with the faculty, good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 1. About 52 percent of students were placed. 2. The highest, the lowest, average salary was 2.5 Lacs, 30k, 60k. 3. Deloitte, google, Microsoft visit the campus for recruitment. The highest, the lowest, the average package was 15 Lacs, 2.5 Lacs, and 8 Lacs. Around 60-70 percent of students got internship in IISER Pune and many other universities.
Infrastructure: 1. In our college, there is an IRC room where one can avail the facility of Wi-Fi. Also labs are well equipped, library is well stocked with ample books and classrooms have projectors and ACs fitted in them. Teachers are very good at helping and making understand things better. 2. Hostel is quite good with ample space in rooms and food is also good. There is a nurse and doctor who is always available in the college. Badminton, football, table tennis, and many games are present.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are really great and well educated. Indeed, they are very helpful in making understand things better to the students. Also, they will assist the students during labs and also in extracurricular activities. 2. This course is indeed a curriculum relevant. Actually, this course helps in understanding chemistry in-depth, practically and also moulds the students to be industry-ready.
Other: 1. I opted for this course because there is a great future lying in the chemistry field. Also, I would be able to do a lot of research work in this field. The best thing about this course is the thrilling experience that I am observing in doing great practicals. 2. Actually, this course should be more inclined towards doing practicals rather indulging students in theory. 3. Many scholarships are provided in our college. Also, an ample number of societies are there which organize many sorts of events.

St. Stephen's College: A place comparable to Heaven.
Placements: 1. 65-70% of the students who sit for placements get placed. 2. 17 lacs in India and 41 lacs abroad was the highest package and the average package is 10.20 lacs. 3. Many students do get internships in my course, for example, one of my friend is an intern at IISER Kolkata, then one guy is intern at TIFR and many such big institutes.
Infrastructure: 1. Everything is available from Wi-Fi to Library and the best part is the library, it's an epic library. 2.
