I will advice you to take admission in this college.
Placements: Few of my friends got placed in various jobs with an average package of 2-3 LPA. Few are still studying like me; I am doing a post-graduation course in computer applications. Many students got placed in the banking sector, and many got placed in the private sector.
Infrastructure: Everything in St. Thomas College is absolutely good. If we talk about classrooms, the library, the canteen area, medical facilities, sports area, everything is so nice and clean. I have no idea about hostel food because I was a local student. But I have heard from my friends who used to live in the hostel; according to them, the hostel was very nicely maintained.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers and every faculty member of the college were very helpful. They assisted us in everything, not only in studies but also in preparing for our future studies. Talking about the exam part, it is well-maintained; they conduct every exam in the proper sequence. The passing marks criteria for our course were 33%.
Other: As the college is the best at everything – studies, surroundings, campus area, sports ground, canteen – all the places were not vacant as the students used to love to spend their time in college. Events and fests are nicely organized by the college staff, and every student was informed about that and asked to participate in it.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: Placements are average in our college. Around 40-60% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered for our course is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is in good condition. Smart classrooms are available in our college for studying purposes but have minimum equipment. Every section has its water cooler in summer. Our college provides facilities like classrooms, a laboratory, a library, sports centers, and good Wi-Fi. All facilities are well-maintained. Our college has a canteen. The food served in the canteen is clean and hygienic. There is no boys' hostel in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified in their respective colleges. They provide advice and knowledge about life. They complete the syllabus on time and provide time for revision. They have a good sense of humor. The course is well-maintained. Our college conducts seminars.
Other: I opted for this course because it has good placements in our college. Our college should decrease the syllabus. Our college organises sports events and fests. Our college provides scholarships to students.

It is okay for students who want a decent college life.
Placements: Our college provides very less placements. Various awareness programs and certificate programs are held, which are mostly free. These are knowledgeable sessions. This helps students build their resume and directly helps students to get a job letter. No direct placements are done.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is not satisfactory. Canteen is good with variety of snacks. Wi-Fi is not available to all the students of college. Library is well-maintained. Sample papers and PY papers are easily available in the library. Our campus has good and peaceful environment.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are helpful and guide us when we need them. Exams are not that difficult. We can easily pass if we study well. I don't think it makes us industry-ready because practical parts are not much focused on by the college and its students as well.

The best college in Bhilai, with superb faculty and an organised culture programme.
Placements: In this course minimum, of 60% is a must for a candidate in their board to take admission. We'll get 1L20k to 9L60k package, TCS, RELIANCE, etc. After scoring 81% I got selected for TCS. Sales accountant at TCS, and now I am enjoying working here, love the way juniors and seniors treat me.
Infrastructure: Open Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, canteen, library, car parking, bike parking, neat and clean washroom, water filter available, computer open for all, superb faculty and facility, even principle is very friendly, and good human being, we will remem all moment we spend in 3yrs.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and well qualified and knowledgeable, and friendly, teachers are always ready to help students well in college and after college, they are just a phone call away from us. After passing out we are still in touch with them.
Other: I love to work in an account even though my favourite subject was accountancy and business studies.

This college is value for money, and placements are not goal.
Placements: Placements from college for commerce department was a rare sight, especially for B.Com. Though faculty members were working very hard to get placements largely, and they had been unsuccessful to get a mass recruiter. Usually, there was an odd job here and there was some local company. This year they were able to get TCS as BPO. I would not recommend coming here if placements were what students were going after.
Infrastructure: There was a decently sized library with a good collection of books which students can get also. They had the option of getting the books from a book bank instead of having to buy them which might get expensive. Students had NSS and NCC if students require also few sports were played in the ground. The canteen which was not functional due to covid serves, and decent food at a nominal price. Students also get photocopy and printer facilities with Wi-Fi around the campus.
Faculty: Some teachers were good very educated and motivated while some just do the bare minimum. Largely students were there when it comes to academics. Since the passing percentage in this university was very low for the first year it usually gets tough to even clear the exams let alone the first division. In the first year, students had 6 sections when second students only had 3 remaining.
Other: There was a college fest and few freshers and parities, but it was usually conducted for students.

Overall, this college is good for bachelor's studies, and you should join it.
Placements: My batch is 2023-2025, and I am pursuing B.Com in Computer Applications. Many students get placed in my course. The highest salary is about Rs. 30,000, and the lowest is Rs. 10,000. The college does not have any internship programs. It does not provide placements for the B.Com course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Library and classroom facilities are good, but the college Wi-Fi does not work well. The quality of the hostel is not very good for students, and the mess is also not very good. The canteen is good, but not so good. The college has a ground for students who are interested in games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. PhD teachers teach at the college. The course is good for students who want to build their careers in banking, financial analysis, etc. The exams are not very difficult, and almost 80% of students pass.
Other: I chose this course because I want to build my career in banking. The best thing about this course is that it provides knowledge about various aspects of business and companies. The infrastructure and library management should be improved.

If you mean in general, most St. Thomas Colleges have already finished their main admission rounds by now (August 2025), but a few may still be open for spot admissions or management quota seats depending on the course and vacancies. So yes, in some campuses the process might still be open, but you’
