    Commonly asked questions
    On Highlights
Q:   Is the BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus the same for all colleges?
    A:

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.

Q:   Is the BTech CSE syllabus the same across all colleges?
    A:

The BTech CSE syllabus differs on the basis of the college offering the course. Every college follows a particular coursework pattern set by the college committee. Though the subjects might vary, the overall conceptual framework is more or less similar for students to get hold of the important concepts of the CSE field.

The syllabus includes core subjects, elective subject choices, practical lab work, workshops, and a final year research project.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
    A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

A geat blend of academics and campus life. Quality education with supportive faculty.
Placements: A total of 20% of students got placed from our college with the highest salary package of 7 LPA including companies like Wipro, Tata, Infosys, Litmus, etc. The top roles offered from our college are software developer, project manager, assistant engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: As a private college, all the college facilities and infrastructure are very well and well managed. The quality of the college hostel is super and well managed neatly. Each lab is equipped with the necessary tools, equipment, and technology to help students apply theoretical knowledge in a practical environment.
Faculty: Faculty refers to the group of teachers or professors who are responsible for teaching and guiding students. They are usually well-qualified in their subject areas and help students understand both theoretical and practical concepts. Curriculum is the structured plan of what students will study during the course. It includes subjects for each semester, practical training, and sometimes internship opportunities. Exams are usually held at the end of each semester or academic year.
Other: Computer science engineering is a 4-year undergraduate course (usually called B.E. Or B.Tech in CSE) that focuses on the study of computers, software, and computational systems. It combines principles from computer Science and engineering to teach students how to design, develop, test, and maintain both hardware and software systems.

By looking through the studies, I rate 10 out of 10 to our college.
Placements: During the academic year 2021-25, our college successfully placed 20% of the students from the final year batch. The highest salary package is 7 LPA, which is from the top companies like 6D Technologies, Litmus, etc., for a software development role, and also includes non-technical companies.
Infrastructure: Our college is a private self-financing college, because of that, the infrastructure of the college is well-maintained. Every classroom and library is neatly kept, with a projector and all the high-tech facilities, including Wi-Fi. There are no medical facilities in our college, but all other activities are good.
Faculty: Our teachers have great knowledge and have an experience of 5-10 years with very good teaching quality. The curriculum activities help a student to cope with the industry environment. Semester exams are not so tough. The pass percentage is 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my ambition, and the best things I have earned are knowledge and connectivity. The course should include many physical activities and can help students' worries about working in a company environment. All the activities apart from the academics are probably well in our college, which contains arts, sports, and techno-cultural events every year.

A good college to learn and become someone in life.
Placements: The college placement cell was okay. About 50 to 60% of people in our batch got placed. The lowest package was around 4 LPA, and the highest was around 7 LPA. The top companies were TCS, Wipro, GICE, and Poornam. All students got a one-month break for internships; many went to different companies, such as Keltro. Top roles were software developer, web developer, and technical support.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure and facilities were good. We were provided with internet service, and the labs and classrooms were also good. The library had most of the books for reference. Hostel facilities were provided but were not the best quality. The canteen was okay and worth the price of the food.
Faculty: The faculty was awesome, very supportive and friendly, and responded to every doubt we had on the subject. Faculty also helped a lot with projects. The syllabus is not the best; it doesn't make us industry-ready. It gives you a base in programming languages; the rest you have to work on yourself. Semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I have been interested in computers and technology since childhood. I would say that changing the syllabus to make students job-ready would be helpful. Events such as Techfest, arts, sports, and Onam and Christmas celebrations were held. The events and fests are grand celebrations and a memorable experience.

The college doesn't provide the life you expect, you have to work for that.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the college where the staff help us in every way to get placed. Even though it depends on our skills to get placed. In my batch, 25% students got placed in one way or another. The main recruiting companies are TCS and VVDN etc.
Infrastructure: There are all basic facilities that a college needs, and the college is situated in a calm natural environment where the mother nature itself provides a good atmosphere. The canteen and cafeteria are average and the facilities for games are there but are limited.
Faculty: The teachers have good helping mentality and all of them are qualified with good teaching experience. Ultimately, the college has a system that makes the students ready to battle. Semester exams are easy if you followed the teacher's regular instruction.
Other: It's a self-financing college so in one way or another the system works as private school. So same as in private school, here also there are some rules. So, choose wisely and don't regret after selecting this college.

Overall, a satisfactory experience made possible by good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: 15% of the students in the electronics and communication branch were placed in the year 2021. The top recruiting company for ECE was Tata Consultancy Services. Most offered position for ECE students was System Engineer, System Analyst along with various others.
Infrastructure: All amenities and facilities provided are of excellent quality. Well-equipped classrooms, labs and libraries are provided with tools for virtual learning. Accommodation facilities are satisfactory. The canteen provides varieties of food of nutritional value and good quality. Ample sports facilities are available like Cricket and Soccer field, table tennis and badminton equipment, etc.
Faculty: All the teachers and staff are well qualified and committed to providing the best learning experience for students. The curriculum provides students with theoretical knowledge to step into the industry but in terms of practical skills needed to survive in the fast-paced and competitive environment, the curriculum is far from adequate. The examinations are moderately difficult and partly challenging to test the examinee thoroughly.
Other: I was passionate about engineering since middle school which lead to me choosing it as a career path. The curriculum should include aspects that develop the entrepreneurial and creative side of the students. Many events and fests of cultural and academic importance were conducted. Extra-curricular activities are actively promoted. Scholarships are offered to eligible students.

I'm dissatisfied with tutors and placements.
Placements: Less percentage of students got placed in our college. Top recruiting companies were Tata Consultancy Service, Wipro, Infosys, Byju's, and Capgemini. Placement cell was not up to expectations. Placement officer was doing a great job.
Infrastructure: Our college had a good infrastructure but was not big. Facilities provided in our college were average. The canteen can accommodate more than 200 students. Food served in the canteen was average. It served rice and curry on most days and biryani on Fridays. Hostel facilities were pathetic.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were assistant professors who were willing to gain experience. Tutors were good, but the way of teaching was not good. Exams were conducted simultaneously. Students couldn't gain practical knowledge at this college.
