SKIT honest review based on recent update.
Placements: This year like a lot of placements, there are a lot with average package of 5 LPA. Top companies like IBM, Infosys, and TCS came and picked students according to skills and with good roles. Our college does not provide a stipend internship, but we have training internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available such as a canteen, sports, and a nearby medical shop but the infrastructure is average and you wont get the 5 star facility. The chair in CS block is comfortable and restful. The hostel is okay, option for a nearby PG or flat if available.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They teach according to the curriculum and the curriculum is based on practical as well as theoretical knowledge which helps in future placement and in real life problem solving. The semester exams are not difficult you can pass easily.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Computer Science engineering to work as a software engineer, and everything is fine, then maybe the removal of theoretically useless objects can be done, and the rest is perfect. We have a lot of events, maybe not the best but enjoyable like ICI fest, which has many games. The biggest event we have is Prabha which lasts for a week and includes late night concerts, celebrity night, one dance game, and it is enjoyable. The crowd is okay, and there are a lot of clubs.

Overall, college is study focused.
Placements: 60 to 70 percent of students are placed this year. The highest package offered is around 21 LPA, the lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package offered is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Justpay, IBM, and Infosys. Approximately 80 to 85 percent of students got internship, some of which are paid and others are unpaid.
Infrastructure: The environment or infrastructure is well-maintained in our college. Our CSE department is well-maintained in the college. Computers are of the latest Windows, and we have Wi-Fi in every computer lab. Hostels have both facilities, AC and non-AC. The rent for hostel is reasonable.
Faculty: Teachers in my course are well qualified, and some of them are from NITs. Teaching quality of our professors is quite good. My course is industry relevant because after every year of B.Tech, there is a industrial internship in our college, which is a good point.

This college is for those students who want to focus on their engineering life
Placements: Around 50–60 percent of students are placed in my college from the passing out batch, and most of them are from the CSE Department. The highest package is around 21 LPA, the average is around 5 LPA, and the lowest is around 3.4 LPA. Some companies are there like Juspay, etc. Most students got internships, some are paid, and some are unpaid.
Infrastructure: In my college, SKIT, there are well-maintained facilities and infrastructure. Classrooms are neat and clean, well arranged. The library is well maintained with a variety of books and separate rooms to study. For your laptop work, there is a separate room to study, and for your college work, there is a room where computers are provided with internet.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified, and their teaching quality is quite good. They don’t waste time, they focus on teaching. This college mainly focuses on students’ careers and their studies. The college also conducts extracurricular activities, but not much. Semester exams can be passed if you study 1 week before the exam, but if you want to score top rank, you have to study regularly.

I am highly satisfied with placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement percentage is about 80 percent. The highest package is about 8 LPA, the lowest is about 3 LPA, and the average is about 6 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys and other tech companies. We have many types of internships with opportunities in our college, both paid and unpaid. Some students got internships at Red Bull, Amazon, and other companies. Top roles in my course vary in terms of people's interests, some of them are code scientists and developers.
Infrastructure: We have a great infrastructure available for my course, especially with many labs for coding. In the library, we have a different section no. 4, and is only for CS students. College has decent mess and quality food, and the canteen food is great, and we upgrade sports facilities, and their extracurricular activities happen after some days to days.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable and put their referred in students' upcoming challenges and help them with any possible needs. The course curriculum is almost the same as that of all other colleges, and the college also gives us many internship opportunities, through which we can learn industry skills. The semester exams in our college are good, and the past percentage is almost 95% and above.
Other: My reason for choosing this course is that I like technology and the latest tech, so I want to engage more in using tech. Now everything is good about my course, and they have great facilities. We have approximately two fests every year, one is ICI fest, and the other is Pravah, which has great opportunities for connectivity, extra extracurricular activities are held for people.

My journey as a SKIT fresher.
Placements: 21 LPA is the highest package this year in PayPal, backed by 2 people in the college and mostly people got placed in companies like Infosys, TCS, 4 LPA around was the average package. Placement starts from the 7th semester onwards and is still going on for the current batch.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not provided, and there are a lot of internet problems. Labs and the library are good, and classrooms are a little outdated. The hostel provides facilities like sports and different clubs like S&T, Toastmasters, and there is an incubation centre, which is a great initiative. Every Wednesday is assigned for activities.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and the curriculum is 25% altered from RTU because of autonomy. Mid-semester is easy, but this year the syllabus completion was very fast, 2 midterms in a gap of 1 month, which includes a 10-day Diwali break, 2 midterms are really hectic.
Other: There are 2 fests in a year.

During the counselling process, admission is granted based on merit list so there is no specific SKIT Jaipur cutoff for BTech. Therefore, the eligibility criteria become the cutoff for this course. SKIT Jaipur cutoff 2024 for BTech is to score 45% marks in the class 12 exam.
