Absolutely talented students.

Faculty: College offers the best curriculum with a perfect mix of theory and practical learning. The faculty is experienced and supportive. Admission is through the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), and the academic exposure is truly enriching and holistic. Semesters are not that difficult if you study regularly.

Learn by exploring new things and real-life practices.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. It gives practical knowledge and assignments to do. You need a CGPA to pass the year. Exams are not tough. If students study in class and make it regularly, it's easy to pass with good grades. But as it is a media college, you should know how to write. If you don't know how to do this, course also provides a subject to study how to write.

Really good placements and facilities inside college.

Faculty: Pass percentage is around 40%. Examinations aren't that difficult. They are quite practical oriented and one can score well if they have a good understanding of the course and the subjects. Examinations are a good opportunity for people to reflect their learnings in the semester.

I am satisfied with the faculty. It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are really helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality, in my opinion, is good. I think this is a subjective question as everyone will naturally have different opinions on teachers. Some of the subjects taught are irrelevant.

It is a great place for academics, but the infrastructure is average.

Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers was above average, although there were many guest lectures for different specialisations, which really help with learning. The course curriculum was very well structured with well-timed internships, which prepare students well for the industry.

SCMC Life or say Army School.

Faculty: Teacher were qualified but not helpful. Faculty ratio was so less compared to the student. They were not supporting and the college was like an army school. Director is not much supporting for weak students. Detention as an deduction of attendance was given as punishment to students.

The students will teach you more than the faculty.

Faculty: The faculty is quite good in the first year. Especially the history teacher will make you feel that your fees had been put up to good use. The first year is foundation, which is the same for everybody. In the second year, we are divided into two groups like mass communication and communication management. In the third year, the mass communication is further divided between AV and journalism. The communication management is divided into advertising and public relations.

The vast industry exposure makes SCMC the best media college in India. The faculty members are good.

Faculty: The college has the excellent faculty members and guest lecturers, who have the immense experience of teaching. Most of them have the great industry experience. Hence, the knowledge they share is of great use, when the students go out in the media world. The vast course covers all the aspects of the specialised field the student chooses and has the good amount of knowledge about the other fields of mass communication.

Glad to have been a part of this college.

Faculty: The curriculum was well-planned as we had internships at the end of every semester. We had a lot of modules and the schedule was hectic, but in the end, it was all worth it. Internships gave us a lot of exposure in the industry and that I think, helped us grow better. Faculty members were quite experienced and very helpful. In addition, we also had a lot of guest faculty members coming on campus.

Hectic but totally worth it.

Faculty: Faculty members were helpful and were always there to guide us when needed. Presentations on projectors were used to teach us theory. In addition to that, case studies were shared with us and guest faculty members were invited to the campus to share their experiences with us. The curriculum was hectic but surely very useful.

A productive and enjoyable experience.

Faculty: We had both in-house and guest faculty members coming to the campus to share their experiences with us. Presentations on projectors and case studies were used to teach us. At times, videos were also shown related to a particular topic. We had too many subjects but I am glad we did, as now, working in the industry has gotten easier, courtesy the exposure to different subjects.

A perfect blend of theory and practical experience.

Faculty: The faculty members were all well-qualified and had a lot of experience. They used both theory and practical tools to teach a particular topic to us. We had a lot of modules, even though they were not directly linked to our field, but were made a part of the curriculum because they would help us in the industry. The internships and projects really added up to our knowledge as we got a practical first-and experience of how the industry works.

This college is a pressure test. It moulds a new person out of you. It's a fun ride.

Faculty: Unbeaten. AdWords lessons from the digital industry experts themselves, aesthetic and visual communication classes, world history, math, literature and corporate etiquette besides journalism, editing, film appreciation, photography, public relations and copywriting made way to our classes. The course does not get more enriching. But well, it can be exhausting.

An all-round good experience.

Faculty: The course at SCMC is very well-rounded and covers everything that a student studying mass communication needs to know. The faculty team is excellent and very well-informed in their field. Sure, there are some who cannot quite communicate what they know, but overall, the faculty members are good. The professors teach through powerpoint presentations and audio-visual clips which are shared with the students too. We got the industry exposure through internships, that are mandatory after every seme...

Mass communication was good.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members were really good. They were highly qualified and knew how to handle the subjects. They mostly used PPTs and videos. The student to faculty ratio was 40:1. Partly industry exposure was provided to the students. Curriculum was decent.
