  6. SET exam will be conducted on May 5 and May 11. Candidates should take the exam on the scheduled date and time, appear for the SET exam at the designated exam center. Follow the instructions provided by the exam authorities. Attempt the exam sections within the given time limit and manage your time effectively.

Q:   How many attempts are allowed in the SET exam?

A:

Candidates can only attempt the SET exam twice on the given test dates, i.e. May 5 and May 11. The SET exam 2025 will be conducted on two days (one session each day). Candidates can mention their number of attempts while filling the SET application form. However, they have to pay the application fee per session. Thus, candidates who are sure of making multiple attempts only they should apply for multiple sessions as the fee amount is non-refundable.  The scores of best attempt will be taken into consideration for shortlisting of candidates for WAT/GD/PI/Studio Test.

Candidates can take multiple attempts as the difficulty level of each session may vary.

Q:   How many test centres can I choose for SET exam?

A:

Candidates can choose upto three SET test cities according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the SET application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates are allotted a test centre in second or third preference only if the seats have been filled or the exam centre has been cancelled at that location. Candidates should know that the SET test cities cannot be changed once the form is submitted even during the form correction window.

Q:   I have scored 65 marks in SET. Can I get admission in Symbiosis?

A:
The minimum marks required in the entrance exam of Symbiosis for taking admission vary depending on the programme and the institute you are applying for. Symbiosis International University conducts several entrance exams for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by its constituent institutes. The minimum marks required for different programs offered by Symbiosis Institute is as follows: 1. Engineering: The minimum SET score required for admission to engineering programs at Symbiosis Institute is generally around 50-60 marks out of 150. 2. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria and minimum SET score does not guarantee admission to Symbiosis Institute. Admission to Symbiosis Institute is based on the merit list prepared by the institute, which takes into account several factors, including SET score, academic performance, and other criteria specified by the institute.
