Symbiosis SET Cut Off 2027 (Expected): Institute-Wise Analysis

SET cutoff is released by the participating institutes after the announcement of the SET result. The ten prestigious Symbiosis Institutes accept SET scores. SET scores are accepted for various undergraduate programmes offered by these institutes. The SET cut-off is different for all institutes and courses. These cutoffs will be available on the official website of each participating college or institute. Candidates who have appeared for the SET exam must meet the cutoff of their preferred institute in order to gain admission to that particular institute.

According to the previous cutoff trends, the SET cutoff generally range from 85-89 for the General category. Last year, the highest SET cutoff was 89 for the General category. Shortlisted candidates who match the cutoff will be called for further selection procedure, which includes, Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Each participating institute released its own SET cutoff. The SET cutoff determined if the candidate will be eligible to appear for the SET selection process which includes Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. SET cut-offs will be announced after the declaration of the result. The SET scores are accepted by the ten prestigious colleges of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and each individual institute releases their own cutoff after the results are announced. SET results are usually announced in the last week of May, for the both the sessions and other courses. Students can check the same on the official websites of the institutes. The students who match the cutoff criteria will be called for further selection process which includes Group Discussions and Personal Interview . Some institutes also conduct Written Ability Test as a part of the selection process.

SET cut off will be released by the participating Symbiosis colleges. Each college will have a unique SET cut off. 

The expected Symbiosis SET cutoff 2026 for different categories is as follows:

• General: 30 to 36 marks
• SC: 27 to 34 marks
• ST: 25 to 31 marks
• OBC: 29 to 35 marks

The SET 2026 cutoff for the merit list and wait list will be released on the respective institute websites at the time of counselling.

To get BBA admissions to the prestigious Symbiosis colleges, students need to appear for the SET exam. Candidates should however, must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates in Class 12 or awaiting their Class 12 board results are also eligible to apply but they will have to submit a passing certificate. 

Therefore, the Symbiosis colleges grant admission to the BBA course through SET exam, but Class 12 marks are equally important as it is one of the most important eligiblity criteria.
