The college is good enough to study according to Indian standards.
Placements: There are very good placements, and 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 53 LPA and the lowest package is 28.83 LPA. IBM and KPMG are the top companies. A high percentage of students get great internship opportunities. Roles like business analyst, advisory, data science, market researcher, and risk analyst are offered to students.
Infrastructure: There are three hostels which are located in new, old and annex within close range to mess with double, triple and single sharing rooms separately for boys and girls. The food is also good enough with proper quality check and clealiness. There are sports and entertainment facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and have a very vast experience with the subject they are teaching. They are fully educated and industry experts. The quality of teaching is very good. They teach according to the industry curriculum and they make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course as this is industry-relevant and very trendy. My course provides me with my interest knowledge, and they can make it more practical instead of theory learning. There is a very happening movement around the college.

College campus is large enough.
Placements: The chance for placement begins in the fifth trimester, in addition to the replacement offer. Campus visitors from Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase and Company, Goldman Sachs, and DE Shaw. 200 candidates were hired. Microsoft's top domestic package is Rs. 45 Lacs, and the typical is Rs. 21 Lacs. Finance, Sales and Marketing, Consulting, International Business, IT, Analytics, and Trade are among the available profiles. I intend to work for a reputable trade company like Cargill, Olam International, or Cofico after receiving my degree.
Infrastructure: The college does not have its boys hostel it has three girls hostels of its own they have tie ups with private hostels there are hostel which offer you a room at 90,000 to hostels where the price is 2,75,000 the food is good in my hostel I would recommend a first year student to stay in a hostel for a year then shift to a flat.
Faculty: International Business MBA is the need of the hour. Has emerging career prospects. In the course curriculum, the first year covers courses from all domains of marketing, finance, supply chain, operations, and human resources. The faculty is highly qualified and regularly publishes research papers. Exams are on time after every trimester and if studied seriously are not difficult to pass.

My review of this college.
Placements: The placement cell works to bring in companies that might be interested in campus recruitment. However, the college does not guarantee 100% placements, but I'll tell you why that's fine. The average pay is 6-7 LPA, whereas the maximum goes to 17 LPA, depending on market conditions. The key recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Tata Motors, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Vodafone, Airtel, Reliance Industries, Virtusa, and many more. Even Microsoft visits the campus. Companies from various domains such as operators, consulting, network, VAS, digital media, etc. Packages vary upon the company and skill sets of students.
Infrastructure: One of the best campuses in the country. Hostel rooms are clean and airy and are available on twin or 3-sharing. The hostel has a basketball court, 2 badminton courts, a squash court, a swimming pool, a football stadium, a gym, and an aerobics centre. There are PGs around within the range of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month. However, by the second year, most students prefer staying in flats with their friends, and they are all available close to the college. The course is divided into trimesters and is of 2 years duration, including industrial training. The course consists of computer courses in software engineering.
Faculty: Exams are held every six months; however, assignments and tests keep you very busy in the first two semesters. The last two semesters are relatively lighter and more focused on preparation for placements. The faculty members of every subject range from average to very good, depending on the luck of the individuals as well. Sometimes a class gets better faculty members than others. However, they are all helpful, not just regarding the course but also regarding extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. In fact, every student is assigned one faculty member as a mentor who guides them through every problem a student comes across.

Things you must know before applying to SIBM Pune.
Placements: At SIBM Pune, placements are something that a student doesn't need to care about, owing to a 43-year-old rich legacy that the brand carries with it. We have seen a consistent increase in placement performance since its inception. There has been an impeccable record of 100% placements, both for summers and final placement for the batch of 2021 and 2020 respectively. We had a total of 87 pre-placement offers out of the total of 186 offers made, for the batch of 2020, which explains the gravity of placements at SIBM, Pune. We have the presence of some of the biggest brands like RB, Godrej, RIL, IBM, KPMG, ABInBev and L&T to be named a few, who opened diverse profiles for students across different specializations like Operations, Finance, Marketing, and HR. The highest package offered was? 34.26 LPA and the average package was? 20.14 LPA for the batch of 2020. The summer internship recruitment process saw the presence of many big companies despite the restriction due to the COVID pandemic. The official internship report for the batch of 2022 is yet to be published, so I advise all the aspirants to stay tuned to get first-hand update.
Infrastructure: SIBM, Pune has one of the best campuses in the country, situated in the picturesque location of pulchritudinous Lavale hills. We have the best-in-class infrastructure and facilities, which go a long way to make sure that the students get a productive campus life as well as academic rigor. We have access to the central library of Symbiosis International, which has a huge collection of books, journals, and reports. We also have access to other sophisticated systems like Prowess IQ, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, EBSCO, etc., which helps us in research work and data analysis for various corporate competitions. SIBM Pune is one of those elite institutes, for which, almost every corporate competition is open. This provides us with another unique opportunity for learning & development. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. We have modern classrooms, an auditorium, a healthcare facility, sports facilities like cricket, football, basketball ground, tennis court, squash court and swimming pool. You name it and we have it. The MNC, amphitheater, and plush green surrounding just act as a cherry on a cake. The hostel services are another thing to boast about, which can be seen in the movies like bodyguards and OTT series like Hostel Dayz, the shooting of which happened on our campus hostel. The quality of food is much better than other institutes.
Faculty: The pedagogy at SIBM Pune is designed to give you the knowledge and understanding about every specialisation, with some inclination towards your majors. The USP of SIBM Pune lies in the fact that students are required to choose their specialisation in the first semester itself, which helps them build up their profile and converge their thoughts for the future. The subjects like Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Legal Aspects of Business, Research methodology, R programming, along with specialisation subjects provides a perfect amalgam of theoretical and practical ones. We have a case-based approach for every subject. We have been provided with best-in-class faculty, who have rich experience of working in the industry as well as in academics. This comes in handy to understand the concepts and apply them to solve an actual business problem.
Other: While I was working in the construction industry, I knew that, along with the technical expertise, I would require the management knowledge to solve the problems and help in improving the profit margins in the business. I lacked the knowledge when it came to certain important concepts in the field of operations. That's when I decided that an MBA in operations from a well-reputed institute would help me bridge the gap and improve my understanding. Also, an MBA programme at SIBM Pune had a unique structure with would provide me with the knowledge, not only in the field of operations but also in the other areas of management, which is highly important in this VUCA world. SIBM Pune is known to be a student-driven institute, where everything is handled and managed by the students. This provides an experience to be a responsible manager even before joining the corporate world. The campus has a hostel to support the residential programme.
Faculty: The teachers were more than helpful. At SIBM Pune, the pedagogy is a combination of lectures, case studies and peer learning. We have a case based approach to learning in the classroom where we all can learn from each others point of view. The teachers support us with constant guidance and show us the right way. We are given assignments which mainly focus on applying the skills that we have learned in the classroom. Most are group assignments so we get to learn from our peers and learn the thinking process. Also, in these two years, we get to work on soft skills such as team learning, time management and people management.
Other: The MBA flagship course offers 4 specialisations - Marketing, Human Resources, Finance and Operations. Each one has an undeniable importance in today's corporate world. The courses are in line with the latest corporate strategies and relevant in terms of what is being practised in the real world. SIBM has an ingrained student driven culture. We have 9 student councils and 6 special interest groups. The student councils handle all activities from placements, admissions, bringing in live project opportunities, corporate interface, college events like fests, alumni meets, etc.
