April 16, 2025: Techno International Batanagar (TIB), a unit of Techno India Group, wrapped up its flagship fest INNOVISTA & EQUINOX 2025 with spectacular success. March 27, 2025: Techno India Group has announced a groundbreaking partnership with City Football Group to establish the first-ever Manchester City Football School in Kolkata. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Indian football development, bringing world-class training to young aspiring players in the country.
The Techno India Manchester City Football School will offer training programs for athletes aged three to seventeen years, guided by British coaches handpicked by the City Football Group. Techno International Batanagar Hosts National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp
August 25, 2024: Techno International Batanagar recently hosted a two-day innovation, design, and entrepreneurship bootcamp, an initiative by the Department of School Education and Literacy, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Education, Research and Training (NCERT). This bootcamp, part of a nationwide initiative taking place at 18 locations across 14 states, aims to nurture the creative and entrepreneurial skills of student innovators, teachers, and principals from schools.
The inaugural session was graced by notable dignitaries, including Sarim Moin and Shivendra Mani Tripathi from the AICTE’s Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), and Rev Dr. John Felix Raj, S.J., Vice-Chancellor of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Techno International Batanagar's “Prayas" Event Ignites Innovation and Inspiration
May 6, 2024: Techno International Batanagar recently wrapped up its third iteration of the "Prayas" National Inter-College Project Competition with great success. Hosted at TIB premises, the event aimed to cultivate a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students nationwide.
With a strong emphasis on scientific inquiry, research, and creativity, Prayas provided a forum for students to demonstrate their inventiveness through prototype development and technical poster presentations. This year, the competition saw an impressive turnout, with over 120 projects submitted from prestigious engineering and diploma colleges, marking a notable increase from previous years.
The event not only drew college students but also saw enthusiastic participation from school students, offering them the opportunity to engage with peers, faculty, and industry professionals. Projects underwent evaluation by a panel of experienced judges, including industry experts and senior professors, ensuring a fair and thorough assessment process.
Dr Joyanta Maity, Prayas' convener, expressed satisfaction with the enthusiastic response and the calibre of projects showcased. Placements: Very few students got placed in our course. Also, they're offering BPO posts for a B.Tech graduate. There's no on-campus placement. They'll literally put our CVs on random job-oriented websites. Even the HOD promised us placement, but after the completion of college, he denied every word he said before.
Placements: Mostly, 70% of the students get placements, with an average package of 14 to 15 LPA. The college provides placement opportunities, but it entirely depends on your skills, abilities, CGPA, and attendance. Many companies visit for placements, with the highest package reaching 32 LPA.
Placements: As my college comes under the Techno group, we do get a batch of good companies recruiting our students. I reckon almost 50–60% of students were placed. The highest package was 20 lpa, which was by Amazon. Companies like Infosys and Amazon recruit from our course. As I just entered my third year, I don't really have an idea about the internship part offered by the college. I just found one for myself on my own. Techno as a group is good but as far as Techno International Batanagar is concerned, ...
Placements: 5 to 10% of students have been placed till now. There are many companies that recruit students from our college. TCS is the main recruiter for Techno Group. The highest package we got from our college this year was a 9 LPA. Internships are not provided directly from college but anybody can do internships on their own if they get any.
Placements: The highest package of our college is 18 lacs per annum, but it is off-campus and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. But this year, there is chaos in our job from college because no companies have come to our college till now. Only 1 student has been placed in our year till now, which is very bad news for students.
Placements: The placement situation this year is quite unfortunate as no placements have been secured yet. Approximately 10% of students are still awaiting placement. The lack of companies visiting our college has resulted in the absence of an average package this year. Some of our top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Cognizant, and TCS.
