Q:   Who is eligible for VOCLET?
A: 

There is no age limit to apply for VOCLET 2025. Candidates who have passed the Class 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with physics/mathematics/chemistry/computer science/electronics/information technology/biology/informatics practices/biotechnology/technical vocational subject/agriculture/engineering graphics/business studies/entrepreneurship. OR 
Passed H.S. (Vocational) examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development. OR
Passed 10+2 years ITI (continuous) in annual system or symester system (Appearing ITI candidates are not eligible).

VOCLET 2025 registration will commence online at the official website. The last date to apply for VOCLET will be notified later. VOCLET is the state-level entrance exam through which candidates can get admission to second-year Diploma courses in Engineering/Technology offered in the state of West Bengal.

West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) organizes the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training (VOCLET) entrance exam every year. VOCLET is the state-level entrance exam through which candidates can get admission to second-year diploma courses in Engineering/Technology offered in the state of West Bengal. According to the Kanyashree Scheme, Kanyashree enrollees will get 50% waiver

(a) in the cost of Admission Form,

(b) in Registration Fee and 

(c) in Counseling Fee.

Also Kanyashree enrollees will get priority for accommodation in Hostel of Government Polytechnics where hostel facility is available. The above stated facilities will be available on production/ submission of valid Kanyashree Identity Card in original issued by the Competent Authority of the Government of West Bengal.

VOCLET 2025 application form will be available online. No other mode of application will be accepted by the authorities. As per the VOCLET 2025 Information Brochure, an applicant should ensure that he or she satisfies the requirements relating to age, educational qualification, caste, etc. before filling up the application form. If, after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is ineligible as per the prescribed eligibility norms, then his or her candidature will stand cancelled even if he or she secures a position in the merit list, a seat is allotted to him or her, or takes admission and gets registered.
