TGC BSc first-year of the course is divided into two semesters. There are a total of nine subjects that are covered in these semesters. The subjects included in a curriculum provide a strong crux for an animation and multimedia professional. TGC Animation and Multimedia BSc curriculum first two semester subjects are enlisted below:

First Semester:

• Basics of Arts (Sketching and Drawing)
• Basic of Computer and Internet Skills
• Essentials and Elements of Graphics Design
• Commercial Design and Communication Process

Second Semester:

• Digital Photography - I
• Digital Photography - II
• Publication Layout - Indesign
• Prepress and Production
• User Interface Design - Adobe XD

Candidates are first required to apply for their preferred course in the institute. TGC Animation and Multimedia shortlists candidates for BSc and MSc based on online test conducted by the institute. The question paper shall include questions on aptitude, GK/ current affairs, and knowledge of media and entertainment. Besides, admission is merit-based for all other courses.
