Absolutely satisfied with TGBS. It has great faculty, exposure, placements, and practical learning.

Placements: In terms of placement, the college has a decent track record. Many students got placements in reputed companies, including me. Internships are also provided to almost all students. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA, which is reasonable for a PGDM institute.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is modern and well-maintained. The campus is clean and spacious. It also has a green environment, which adds to the overall vibe. The library is well-stocked with books and journals, so it helps students to do research.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and experienced. They ensure concepts are clear and also include real case studies and practical assignments, which help in understanding real-world applications. The course curriculum is also updated and aligned with the industry requirements. There is a good learning environment for students.

Where learning meets mentorship: My experience at TGBS.

Placements: Around 97 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 11 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are ACG World, Policy Bazaar, Zycus, Nykaa, Flipkart, and DCB Bank. 99 percent of students got internships in companies like Kerakoll, DCB Bank, Motilal Oswal, and real estate companies. Roles offered are HRBP, senior executive, corporate HR, lead marketing, and sales.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. They are well-equipped with projectors and smart boards. The library is very well stocked with management books, journals, and digital resources. The canteen provides various food options at good rates. The campus also has medical support facilities and sports areas like turf and a games room for indoor activities.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The PGDM curriculum is very relevant and designed to give students exposure to industry practices. The semester exams are generally not very difficult in my opinion. Some papers that involve real-life case studies and application-based questions can be slightly more challenging.

Other: I wanted to build a career in the HR domain and get exposure to good placements. The best thing about this course is how it has built my presentation skills, group discussion confidence, and also the exposure it provides through internships, guest sessions, and industry interactions.

Good infrastructure, knowledgeable faculty, and good industry connections.

Placements: Approximately 90% students get placed in college. The highest package offered is 13 LPA, while the lowest is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting firms are from BFSI and FMCG, such as BlackRock, HDFC, ITC, and Mapro. Around 90% students receive internships. Out of the internships and placements that are offered, around 75-80% are for sales roles.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure. It provides great Wi-Fi facilities and smart boards in almost every classroom. Great library facility and ace equity portals for access to company financials, hence great study material is provided. An indoor game area is present. The canteen is good and lively.

Faculty: The college has excellent faculty members. They know how to teach the concept well through activities, hence, practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge is provided to the students. Workshops, guest lectures, and sessions from other industry professionals are often conducted. The course is well aligned with industry demands, and we are getting lots of training for in-demand tools like advanced Excel, Power BI, and even Tableau.

Great learning experience with good placements.

Placements: In our PGDM Marketing batch, there are 37 students in total. Out of them, 36 students are successfully placed through the college placement process. So the overall placement percentage for our course is around 97%. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, while the lowest package is about 4 LPA. Most students received packages between 5-7 LPA, so the average package is around 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Zycus, ITC, House of Abhinandan Lodha, Club Mahindra, and Runwal Group. The most common roles offered are Business Development Executive (BDE), Relationship Manager, CRM Executive, and Digital Marketing Executive.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi available in almost every classroom, which helps students access online resources during lectures. The infrastructure is very good and well-maintained, and the washrooms are always clean. There are computer labs on every floor for continuous work, and the library has many books related to marketing, finance, and other business topics. The college also provides indoor sports facilities like carrom, table tennis, and chess.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful throughout the course. They are well qualified, many of them studied at top colleges, and they also have industry experience. The course curriculum is relevant to current industry requirements. It helps students become industry-ready by combining theoretical concepts with practical exposure.

Other: I chose this course because it is diverse and offers many learning opportunities beyond classroom study. The course includes industrial visits, international walkthrough sessions, guest lectures, & practical learning methods. One improvement could be adding more professional certification programs related to the industry.

Decent placements, excellent faculty members, and campus.

Placements: Average placement assistance. Many of us did not get a job in the desired companies. Around 40-50 percent of the students are placed in the companies brought by the college placement cell. The highest package offered is around 13 LPA (not sure if that was variable or fixed), and the minimum package is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BlackRock, EisnerAmper, House of Hiranandani, etc. 80 percent of the students got an internship through college, but not in the desired fields.

Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure. On their way to becoming a university. The canteen is crowded during the peak hours but the food quality is good. They've provided 2 new vending machines on the campus which contain dry snacks, chips, cold drinks, energy drinks, milkshakes, etc.

Faculty: The teachers are excellent, they have a good amount of knowledge, and they always motivate the students to take part in different extracurricular activities, events, debates, etc. Semester exams are not that difficult when you prepare thoroughly. Practical knowledge provided.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to change my field from marketing to operations. The operations faculty/HOD is the best on this campus. He understands each and every grievance of the students and provides appropriate and systematic solutions. More practical knowledge is required in the operations course. My batch is 2024-26.

Placements: Thakur Global Business School had 100% placements this year. The highest package that was offered was 11.4 LPA, and the average package was 6.5 LPA per year. The top recruiting company this year was RBL Bank. Even the summer internship placement was 100 percent.

Infrastructure: TGBS has modern classroom facilities, spacious classrooms with comfortable seating, and audio-visual equipment. A well-stocked library with a vast collection of books, journals, research papers, and an online database. High-speed internet connectivity throughout campus.

Faculty: TGBS has highly qualified and experienced faculty members with advanced degrees, such as Ph.D.s, from reputable institutions. Faculty members have both academic expertise and practical experience in the respective fields. The curriculum of the course is up-to-date, covering core business disciplines such as finance, marketing, operations, and HR. It has a flexible curriculum to accommodate specializations based on students' career interests, such as Entrepreneurship and sustainability. TGBS has opportunities for global exposure through international study trip exchange programs. TGBS has a rigorous examination structure that assesses both conceptual understanding and practical application of knowledge. There are also a variety of assessment methods, including written exams, presentation cases, analysis, group projects, and practical assignments.

Other: I chose PDM finance because of my passion for understanding financial market analysis, investment opportunities, and making informed financial decisions. The course offers a comprehensive curriculum covering topics like financial management, risk management, corporate finance, and investment analysis, which align perfectly with my goals and finance. The best thing about the course is its practical approach, providing hands-on experience through case studies, simulations, and industry professionals engaging in these activities to foster networking opportunities, personal development, and a sense of community, enriching the overall learning environment.
