Helpful tips could be  as followed :- 

1. Make notes of what you can understand and what you can't (this will help you to know more about what you have learned soo far and what you have to put more efforts in)
2. Ask questions to the faculties.
3. Learn and understand the concept, rather than to memorise the whole answer.
4. Take helps from your friend and teach what you can and learn what you haven't (because sometimes, you can't understand what is on board, but you can understan what you learned from yourself.
5. Belive yourself.
6. A good routine.
7. First year student, shall almost clear their concept in first year, as second year is mostly related to first year.

If someone fails in internal exams, they are eligible to give KT exam, by paying the KT form fees, after that re-exam are taken. Shall clear all the KT exams before going to the second year, students cannot hold more that 2 KT in next year. And if the KT is more than 2 in the written exam, than students get's dropped out .
