Courses offerred by The Hindu College are approved by eminent Government bodies like AICTE. The combined seats available for courses offered at The Hindu College goes up to 120.

The Hindu College has courses such as MCA, B.A., B.Sc., B.Com which are primarily in the stream of IT & Software, Humanities & Social Sciences, Science, Accounting & Commerce.

The Hindu College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

MCA	Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with Mathematics as one of the subject at Intermediate or Degree level with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission.
B.A.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Boards/Council. For Management Quota : Candidate must have passed with 35% marks.
B.Sc.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Boards/Council. For Management Quota : Candidate must have passed with 35% marks.
B.Com	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised Boards/Council. For Management Quota : Candidate must have passed with 35% marks.

Students can apply for jobs, however, it is advisable to continue with your further studies as History is mostly based on theoretical aspect. Through higher studies, one can narrow down on what course they would like to specialise in and then make a career in. In terms of graduate employment options, the BA History scope is one of the most diversified. The following are the employment options for BA History graduates
