Review of Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management Kulur (BCA).
Placements: Currently, I am a first year student so I don't know much about the placement but I think from 4 and 5 semesters onwards the placements start. We can apply for placements but there are criteria that we should meet, like we are eligible for placement only if we don't have any backlogs or spending fees. The recruiting companies are TCS, IBM, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome. The campus and library are very neat and clean. Classrooms have AC. They always keep the campus clean. The library is also very good. Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good. Hostel is also very neat and clean. Every room has AC and Wi-Fi. Laundry is also available.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant, and syllabus is updated to new market trends. The majority of the teachers are really helpful and kind. The exams are not that much difficult. We are provided with the question bank 1 week before the exams which makes the exam simple, even for semester examinations. 50 marks are CIA, and rest 50 is semester examination.
Other: Extracurricular activities are their like red cross, eco club, rotary club, etc. But the events are less, we have few programs every year.

Awesome experience.
Placements: In this college, about 75% of students got placed, and the rest of them can get outside if they have the industry-level coding skills ready to go. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, IBM, and many more.
Infrastructure: Facilities are provided. Everything is there library, Wi-Fi, and everything else. The hostel has a very nice environment for studies and food at the beginning, but eventually, you have to move out to seek more options in life. As a hostel, they also provide Wi-Fi and food.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind and helpful towards students, and they prepare students well. Semester exams are easy if you just learn, but the real thing is skill. Exams are easy, and very understandable questions are asked in them. Teachers also help before the exam to revise.
Other: I chose BCA because I want to code and put myself in a coding era.

Decent Learning Experience with Supportive Teachers.
Placements: The placement performance for this course indicates that approximately 10% of the students, which amounts to 5 out of the total 50 enrolled, secure job offers upon completion of their studies. The average package offered to the students is around 2 Lacs per annum (LPA), reflecting the current market scenario and the demand for the skills taught in the course. While the highest package offered is somewhat 8 LPA, some IT companies from Bangalore are the most recruiting.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is basic, but the computer lab is well-equipped for practical work. Hostel facilities are average; food in the mess is okay, while the canteen offers better options. Medical aid is basic, and sports facilities are limited but functional.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly, qualified, and knowledgeable, making learning engaging. The curriculum, especially in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, covers industry-relevant topics, preparing students for future roles. Semester exams are not too hard; basic understanding is enough to pass.

A perfect college for passionate students.
Placements: Highest package is around 9 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. The top recruiters are IBM, TATA, MPHASIS, etc. Every one of the students got internships, and most of them got them in the companies I mentioned above. It’s like 100 percent of the students got internships. The top roles offered are in companies related to the aviation industry, such as ground staff, air hostess, and also in the tourism field. It gives a good opportunity and high chances for them to secure a job.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are truly highlighted and need to be truly appreciated. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are 10/10. I truly prefer Yenepoya Deemed to be University if you are a person who values infrastructure and money and needs better surroundings. The food and quality of the hostel are also very appreciated because I am staying in the hostel currently. We have all the facilities, and a good warden and security. All are very friendly, and the facilities are value for money and worth it.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and have high knowledge. They teach very well. Yes, the course makes the students industry-ready, and the course curriculum is relevant. The exams are not that difficult, and anyone can easily pass the exam if they study well.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in the aviation industry. The best thing about the course is that they teach us with vision and provide us with good training. I guess a little bit of improvement in the freedom of the students can be a better option. Major events and programs are done correctly, and they give a better campus life. They also give support for extracurricular activities.

I am very much satisfied with college, but they should have provided free Wi-Fi for the students.
Placements: Top companies like IBM and TCS are usually recruiting staffs from our college. Yenepoya is mainly known for its campus placement. They assist us with our placements as well as internships. Almost 80-90% of passed students will definitely get placed in college.
Infrastructure: While coming to infrastructure, there are no compromises, air-conditioned classrooms, labs, and offices. There are 2 food courts and 2 different canteens. There is a vast library with a lot of books. We have very good medical facilities as well as a huge playground. Wi-Fi costs additional money.
Faculty: Faculty members at YIASCM are so friendly and well-qualified. I am always impressed by the faculty members. They are so helpful and professional. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the industry ready and students are highly trained by the faculty members. Pass percentage is 30 to 35% likely of the total mark.
Other: I chose BCA because I am highly passionate about coding and programming. I always wanted to learn different programming languages. Events regularly happen at the college administrators as well as the student's welfare, clubs, etc. Yenepoya has a really good campus with different mountains, garden, playgrounds, rest areas, etc.

Bad campus environment, good faculty and facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, etc.
Placements: Placement is not based on the marks or academic score. BCA is a decent course that only gets placed on the skill of every individual. The college will provide some interviews or internship offers, but they are very limited. It is very little percent of students getting direct placement from college.
The course is not bad or good; it's upon how you make skills with that.
Infrastructure: By comparison, the BCA college is smaller than other Yenepoya colleges. But in the case of the facilities like Wi-Fi, AC, lab, libraries, classes, etc., it's good. The college basically didn't give the traditional college vibe, but an office mood or vibe. The hostel is very good when compared to other hostels. The food is decent and good, and the menu too. AC, Wi-Fi, study hall, medical doctor, ground, etc. are provided. The mess and canteen are neat most of the time.
Faculty: Faculty members are very nice and open; they are very helpful in my condition. Teachers are friendly and they help with studying and extracurricular activities. They are nice and polite; they are up-to-date with the syllabus. In the case of course curriculum, it's very hard to study; there is more content to study in the short time, but it helps to get more knowledge through that. The students capability for a job or a work is based on their skill; it's based on what you understand. Semester exams are much harder to crack than a basic BCA because there are many specialized course for consumer like Ai, robotics, IoT, ML, etc.
There is about 60-95 percent pass percentage.
Other: BCA is my clear decision to be an AI developed. I chose this course because it is the only course in which I could find AIML, robotics and IoT as specializations. I wish to be updated, and there should be a massive improvement in campus environment like Yenepoya Medical College, infrastructure, space to colab, tech space, etc. Scholarships are now based on the marks of +2.
