Good for medical. Teaching is average. Facilities are good.
Placements: It does not have any specific course. You need to pass PUC (+1, +2) with more than 50%. If you have more than 80%, you do not need to pay the last semester's fee. The package starts from 4 LPA to 12 LPA. In Cyber Security, students with above 80% get internships.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms have very good facilities. This college mainly focuses on studies, not sports. The college is mainly famous for the medical field, but the medical facilities are not very good. Compared to other colleges, this college has good food and a good hostel.
Faculty: Semester exams are important, and the passing percentage for each subject is 20/50. If you want to know more about your topics, you need to take the initiative yourself. Semester exams are neither very difficult nor very easy. The course curriculum is relevant. Self-study is better because some teachers are interns in BCA.
Other: The college is good for studies, not for sports. If you are a sports or arts student, you should not go there.

Utterly disappointed by the course structure and curriculum.
Placements: No placements, and we are the only batch with this course, and there are no college-aided placements at all. Don't expect anything good from here. No reputed companies come here for recruitment. I know it's sad, but that's the reality. Even though we were told that an internship was embedded in the course, it's not.
Infrastructure: The college is very bad. No good facilities were ever given. Libraries don't even have books related to our major, and there is not a single thing worth the money we are paying. Not even a properly maintained sick room or a nurse is present in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very bad. Teachers are not at all qualified, as they can't even properly communicate in English. The teachers don't have enough experience or expertise in the field they are teaching. All they do is come to class, read out the presentations, and give out loads of work to be submitted.

Overall, it is an average college with good facilities.
Placements: Almost 20-40 percent of students get placed in the course. The lowest salary is Rs. 4000, and the highest is Rs. 35,000. Companies like Microsoft, IBM, and Infosys hire students. About 20-40 students get internships from Microsoft and IBM. Roles offered in the course include Programmer, Code Fixer, and Backend Developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is mostly useless and laggy in classrooms, and not all students get Wi-Fi coverage. Labs are good with plenty of keyboards and other devices. A good library is available with plenty of books. Hostel food is rated 5/10, medical facilities 6/10, and sports and games 5.5/10. All hostels and college buildings have good filtered drinking water facilities.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, while others are newer teachers. Overall, the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are sometimes simple, but practical exams are a bit more difficult to score well on.

Moderate academics but limited industry exposure for students.
Placements: Around 10% of students from our course were placed in the latest placement cycle. The highest, the lowest, and the average packages were not officially disclosed by the institution. TCS was the major recruiting company for our course. The internship percentage is also unknown, as no official data was provided. Students who received internships mainly focused on gaining better knowledge and efficient practical experience. The roles offered are designed to improve technical skills and overall professional growth.
Infrastructure: The college offers good facilities like smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and good teachers. Hostels are decent, with AC rooms, laundry services, and bus transportation. However, the hostel food is only average and needs improvement. Overall, the campus environment is comfortable. There is still room for improvement in both academics and facilities. Considering everything, I would rate the college 7 out of 10.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, qualified, and supportive, but still have places for improvement. The curriculum is okay, though it needs more materials to make students fully industry-ready. Students require better communication training and practical experience as part of the course. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and most students pass with regular preparation. Overall, the course is acceptable.
Other: I had taken this course because I like to study more theory than practical, but when I came here, I understood that there is no difference in the course between BCA and B.Sc. We are not having science-based subjects yet. The campus should provide more extracurricular activities and events.

Really good infrastructure here.
Placements: IBM, Microsoft, and TCS were most recruiting companies for this course. 90 percent of students got internships in those above companies. The highest package offered by the course was 12 LPA for a beginner, depending on your skills. The lowest was 4 LPA, and I think it was a decent package.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available. Lab was there with more than 400 PCs. It had huge classroom with smart monitor. Huge spaced library was also provided. Hostels were providing decent quality for the students. They provided medical facilities. The food provided in the mess was of decent quality.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified. Their teaching quality was much better and understandable. Semester exams vary depending on how you study for your academics. The one who studied it would be easy, and the one who did not study it would be difficult. The pass percentage was 30.
Other: I am really interested in this course, and I have been practicing coding for a few years. Events were provided by college, and you could have fun. All extracurricular activities were provided. It's not all about studies, students also need entertainment.

Review of Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management Kulur (BCA).
Placements: Currently, I am a first year student so I don't know much about the placement but I think from 4 and 5 semesters onwards the placements start. We can apply for placements but there are criteria that we should meet, like we are eligible for placement only if we don't have any backlogs or spending fees. The recruiting companies are TCS, IBM, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome. The campus and library are very neat and clean. Classrooms have AC. They always keep the campus clean. The library is also very good. Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good. Hostel is also very neat and clean. Every room has AC and Wi-Fi. Laundry is also available.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant, and syllabus is updated to new market trends. The majority of the teachers are really helpful and kind. The exams are not that much difficult. We are provided with the question bank 1 week before the exams which makes the exam simple, even for semester examinations. 50 marks are CIA, and rest 50 is semester examination.
Other: Extracurricular activities are their like red cross, eco club, rotary club, etc. But the events are less, we have few programs every year.
