BCA (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) with minor in Robotics - Microsoft - Batch of 2026
4.6
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, there is a strong infrastructure, supportive faculty members, and a placement cell.
Placements: Around 60-70% of BCA students are placed through campus placement. The highest package is 6.5 LPA offered by TCS Digital, the lowest package is 2.2 LPA offered by small start-up companies, and the average package is 4-4.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and Mindtree.
Infrastructure: The hostels provide AC rooms, a Wi-Fi study room, a canteen, and a cafeteria. They also provide a culture fest and sports for hostel students. The good food is available, and it is not that bad for eating. They also provide good medical services from their own hospital.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, holding postgraduate degrees and certificates in their respective fields, like AI and data analysis. They all have their own certificate, they are friendly, and they clarify doubts, if we have any. We can clarify the doubts with our faculty at any time, and they will help us. They are not just a faculty, they are also a good friend and support at any time.
Other: The reason I chose this course because I like to enter the IT field, like computer application, to build software and data analysis in this kind of field. I am willing to become a software engineer, that's why I chose this course.

BCA in (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence) with minor in Big Data Analytics - Microsoft - Batch of 2026

The college is very good for enjoying the campus life.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a BCA in Data Science and Big Data Analytics from the 2023–2026 batch. The placement percentage for our course is around 85%, with most students getting placed through campus recruitment. The highest salary package offered so far is 45 LPA by reputed tech companies like IBM and TCS. The average package stands at 8.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our program include Amazon and Google.
Infrastructure: This course is good to study, and the infrastructure of the college is very good. The top companies like IBM and TCS, etc., appreciate it as well. The college is NAAC A+ accredited and is one of the best colleges in Mangalore. The hostel food and stay are also good and safe. They provide good security too.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are well-qualified and professional, so we can study easily. We can ask doubts at any time. The course is also easy to study, and the semester exams are not very difficult. The passing mark required is 30 out of 75, which means we need 30% to pass.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my future goals. I like it very much, and that’s why I chose this course.

Life in Yenepoya, Bangalore.
Placements: In this particular aspect, the college and the course lack opportunities. There was no job placement/recruitment that was conducted as such. But there surely is a job fair that is conducted in the months of June and July. Regarding internships, we have signed a MoU with 3 companies, namely Phoenix, Reinfosec, and Mibiz. This has helped us gain technical knowledge regarding our subject, which we are thankful for.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are great. Spacious with AC and even a library, it accommodates enough people on a day-to-day basis. There are good reference books in multiple copies kept in the library, and we even have the facility of an e-library. There is no medical room as such on campus. We have different sports equipment kept, which is used after class for practice. The labs are underequipped but sufficiently spacious. Good maintenance of the lab can go a long way toward giving students the practical knowledge that is necessary.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The teaching quality was also good, with materials being provided to us on the platform. The curriculum, though outdated, was good to learn and understand. A bit of advancement in the curriculum is needed. The semester exams are not objective-based, with application-level questions encouraging us to apply our subject knowledge in writing answers.
Other: This course has always interested me due to its challenges, not only to intellect but also to ethics and morals that come forward on a day-to-day basis. It's aim to provide justice on actual data using science motivated me towards it.

B.Com. in Aviation and Logistics in association with Microsoft Learning - Batch of 2026

I am very satisfied with the faculty members of Yenepoya College.
Placements: About 70-75% of students get placed in my course B.Com in Aviation and Logistics. Top companies that recruit students for my course are IBM, TCS, Microsoft, and Google. Almost all students got internships in my course B.Com in Aviation and Logistics at Mangalore airport and other logistics companies.
Infrastructure: We are provided with a library, computer labs, classrooms with biometric fingerprints for attendance, and Wi-Fi. The quality of food in my hostel is average. Compared to other hostels, my hostel (Jeppu Hostel) is far better which is what I have heard a lot. It also provides medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are great and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. They are left with full knowledge about the particular course. Semester exams are medium easy and can be passed if studied well.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in aviation and the best thing about my course is the industrial visits. There is nothing to improve. Everything is perfect. Events are few in my college but it organsied a fest recently and it was well-informative.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placement issues.
Placements: In our course, no one is placed, not even our seniors. Our college is not offering any kind of packages for placements till now. There are no placement internships currently available. As there are no placements, there are no companies for our course. One of the students got an internship in Dubai, but not through the college.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure facilities in our department, Wi-Fi and other services require an extra fee. The labs are not well-equipped. The classrooms are good; they have air conditioning and smart TVs. Overall, the infrastructure is good. The library is also useful for us. The hostel is nice, and the food in the mess and canteen is good.
Faculty: No, the teachers here are not well-qualified; they are not from a forensic background. The teaching quality is also poor. The curriculum is not suitable when seeking an industry for students. Semester exams are not very difficult; if you study, you will get the marks. The pass percentage will be around 40%, I guess.
Other: I chose this because it's a very interesting field. The best thing about this course, I would say, is the crime scene investigation. It's very interesting because we get to learn so many things. The campus fest has many events being conducted.
