I'm satisfied with this college.
Placements: Placement is good. There are better opportunities for students to secure their jobs. Training is also given. Companies outside India are also a part of the placement program. Recruiting companies are TLC, Infosys, and more. Even if you have supplementary they will try hard to get you placed.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are also good. They frequently check hostel for food and other facilities. Hostel food is great. They change the menu every week.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are friendly and interactive. They behave as a friend to us, which is nice. We get enough time to study and complete each semester. We can clear doubts and study. Time is available. Syllabus are taken correctly and covered. Frequent tests are conducted to analyze the progress of students and compare them with each mark. Each class have an separate teacher.

Review of M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering course at TKM Institute of Management.
Placements: Placements in the college are pretty good and about 90% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 30 LPA and the average package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the college for placements. Mainly companies hire students for software roles.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is good. The food served by the mess has so many complaints as it is giving old and expired food. However, we can find a good PG nearby college with charges starting from Rs. 5,000 per month. The college infrastructure is good. Every class has a smart TV, projector, etc. The campus is too congested.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and have years of experience. Every permanent faculty member has a doctorate level of qualification. There are two semesters each year and a total of 4 semesters. To pass semester exams, we have to score 27 marks for internal exams out of 40 and 30 marks in written exams out of 60. It is a little bit hard to score marks in exams.
Other: The college organises its own techno-cultural fest named Hestia every year. The college has different types of cultural as well as technical clubs like IEDC, IEEE, etc.

The faculties are very friendly and will guide you well.
Placements: TKM College of Engineering has the highest number of placements amongst KTU colleges, and the placements in previous seasons were very good. The highest package is 16 lpa, the lowest will be 3 lpa, and the average will be 6 lpa. Tata Elxsi is the common recruiter. This is the best college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at TKM College of Engineering in Kollam, Kerala includes hostels, a sports complex, labs, and more. TKM College of Engineering has hostels for around 2,000 students, including boys and girls. The hostels offer amenities like: 24-hour security Wi-Fi Recreational facilities like playgrounds, indoor and outdoor games, and gymnasiums Multipurpose rooms for yoga Computer facilities Reading rooms with books, magazines, and newspapers Emergency vehicle and driver available round the clock
Faculty: Faculty members who are experts in their domain of expertise are available to impart their knowledge and experience to the budding engineers at this alma mater. The teachers of this college are very well trained and knowledgeable in their respective subjects

Strong Academics with Dedicated Faculty, but Limited Extracurricular Opportunities.
Placements: I took this course, and honestly, it was pretty good overall. Most of us got placed, around 80% or so, which is decent. The highest package was amazing—something like 20 LPA—but yes, the lowest was maybe 4-5 LPA. The average was around 8-10 LPA, so not bad.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the course/department are pretty solid. We have well-equipped labs with the latest software and equipment, spacious classrooms with projectors, and fast Wi-Fi throughout the department. The library is also great—loads of books, journals, and even a quiet space to study.
Faculty: The teachers here are really good overall—most of them are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They're helpful if you approach them, but you need to take the initiative sometimes. The teaching quality varies a bit between professors, but on average, it's decent. The curriculum is quite relevant and updated with industry standards, especially for tech-related courses. It includes a mix of theory and practical, so it does prepare students well for the job market.
Other: When choosing this course, I was primarily drawn to its strong focus on [specific aspect of the course, like practical applications, industry-relevant curriculum, or research opportunities], which aligns perfectly with my career aspirations in the desired field.

TKM College of Engineering.
Placements: More than 50% of students were placed from each branch last year. 16 LPA was the highest salary package provided last year. As I'm pursuing mechanical engineering, mechanical students are widely hired by L&T with a good salary package. Stipend internships are also being provided.
Infrastructure: We have good classrooms with projector systems and all. Wi-Fi is available in certain areas of the college and each block in hostels. Everyone is allowed to use the Wi-Fi. Lab facilities are top-class, and updated systems are provided. Sports and games are highly promoted on our campus.
Faculty: Some teachers are so helpful, we have our own freedom inside the campus, also in the hostel, timings and all are so reliable. The curriculum is made simple by making it an autonomous college. The curriculum and questions are prepared by our faculty members themselves.
Other: This is the best college in Kerala to pursue mechanical engineering. Because our college provides the best placements with higher salary packages. Events and fests are held every month, the highlight is the techno-cultural fest 'Hestia.'

TKMCE: The College with Lots of Memorable Moments.
Placements: In chemical engineering, placements are comparatively very low; I think only 10/70 are placed. In CS, mechanical, and other branches, placements had very good results, with an average of 9 LPA. Core companies are comparatively low in our country, so we need to choose abroad for work.
Infrastructure: The architecture of our campus is very old; it looks like a mosque and looks great. The evening view of the campus is very nice. Our campus provides us with labs, classrooms, and Wi-Fi for study purposes. The canteen facilities are good. We have to pay first and then get the product, which is the canteen policy.
Faculty: Chemical engineering is a good course. It contains subjects like Instrumentation and Process Control, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Particle Technology, Safety-related subjects, Heat Transfers, and Mass Transfers, which give a whole idea to students. Semester examinations are a little tough, but if you study well, you should score good marks.
