Must do changes to BCA course.
Placements: Only 10-20%students were placed. The highest package offered was 4 LPA. The Recruiting company was a Chandigarh based IT company. 20-30 % students got internship. Most of the students are working as Freelencers. Some are doing work in local companies.
Infrastructure: A new building is inaugurated. Which have more facilities than earlier. There's are new computer labs, a library etc. The classrooms are avarage. I rate canteen 5/10. Other than that there's a good faculty for sports etc. The best part is new Computer labs.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful but. You have to hustle by yourself if you want to get a skill. I think the curriculum is changed a bit. Now it is mor practical based other than theoretical. The pass percentage is about 80%. I think the students are not industry ready. They have to learn technologies that can be used in real life.
Other: I wanted to make my career in IT field that's why I choose BCA. Because it's more economical than doing a B.Teach in a high ranked college. I think there should be more practical things. Like, doing real life projects than just sticking to the course syllabus. There are events organised by different departments at different times of an year.
