Absolutely best and value for money college.
Placements: About 82% of students are placed in our mechanical engineering department. The average package is about 5 LPA. Minimum package is 3 LPA, and maximum package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Impetus, Volvo, Shakti Pump, Yash Technology, and UltraTech Cement.
Infrastructure: Our department has best infrastructure. Best labs facilities are available in the entire college. Our department is also in collaboration with IIT Indore. As our college is about 70 years old, its infrastructure is not up to mark. Canteen in our college is not so good.
Faculty: Our department has best teachers in entire college. All faculty members in our department are highly qualified and all are pass out from IITs. They help us really well. Our courses are very good and very point to point. It gives us knowledge of industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in robotics.

Absolutely satisfied by faculty and good placement. Not good infrastructure.
Placements: About 60% to 70% or more of the mechanical engineering students at Ujjain Engineering College are placed. The average package is 4.5 to 5.5 LPA. 100% of students got internships because it is compulsory to do an internship after the second and third years.
Infrastructure: The faculty are well-educated from well-known universities and colleges and have good teaching skills. They are supportive. There is Wi-Fi in the library for students and faculty. Classrooms are adequate. Labs are average.
Faculty: I have answered points one and two above. The exam papers are above average in difficulty, but the marking is harder, so the pass percentage in my branch is lower. Teachers are well-qualified and experienced.
Other: I chose this course because I have a personal interest in it. About 2–4 events/fests are organized by different branches of the college.

It is a decent college which is value for money.
Placements: Campus placements depend on the student's merit. If they have sufficient knowledge and soft skills, they will be offered an average package. However, some students also get off-campus placements with above-average packages. Ultimately, it depends on the student.
Infrastructure: It is a government college. While it doesn't have high-end infrastructure, it is manageable. New buildings are being constructed, and some old ones will be renovated. There is a small canteen that is a popular gathering spot.
Faculty: The teachers at Ujjain Engineering College are qualified from various IITs and NITs. It is important to know how to communicate with them properly. If we build a sensible connection with them, they will surely guide us in various aspects. New subjects are added keeping various teaching trends in mind.

Best college in Madhya Pradesh in terms of placements.
Placements: According to me, in my batch there are 70 students; most of them are placed, which means 100% placement in my mechanical engineering batch.
The highest package of my batch is around 9 lacs per year and the lowest average package offered is around 3.7 lacs per year.
There are only top-rated companies approached by our college because Ujjain Engineering College is AICTE affiliated so top companies hire GETs and apprentices.
Most companies hire to SEE candidates past experience like their internship and their apprenticeship, which is done during the 4-year graduation period.
The candidates who placed only offers for engineer, apprentice training and graduate engineer trainee.
Overall, this is the best or kind of good college for placement

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure and facilities given by the college are above average. The hostel facility is also good. They take care of all students. There are lots of facility given by college like Wi-Fi, silent library huge classrooms huge workshops and many more infrastructure-wise. The college is very large and huge the facility is given by hostel is good. They provide a single B.Ed. and mess, which was good or above average and also medical facilities.
And also, college takes care of the physical endurance of students so they provide a huge playground where we can play our sports and games. So the overall student's physical health is also better.
Faculty: During my four-year operation period, all faculty members are very helpful and they give very knowledgeable ideas and guidance. The quality of their teaching is very professional. The faculty members cheer and give experience from there on so that we can rely on them; they make us industrial-ready.
According to me, there is no difficult semester because the faculty members give us proper knowledge so that we can apply on exams. The quality of their teaching experience is so good so there is no difficulty in the exam. Most students are getting good grades and passing marks.
Other: According to me, choose which branch which you have interest because engineering is all up to you. If you not give proper time and trust, it will become horrible, so choose wisely and choose your own course which you have interest.
If you are confused, then pick a high placement rate course, which you can rely on, and just go with the flow; it is very enjoyable.
There are most of events are held on this college Every branch have different events, like mechanical engineering has different events, and same is for chemical engineering, electrical engineers, electronics and communication, civil engineering, etc. So there are lots of events held on this college's different branches, so you can participate in any event. The events are very joyful.
There is no issue with scholarships.
Lots of extracurricular activities are held at this college.
The campus is very huge and there is no limitation on events or crowds.

Think wisely before choosing the college.
Placements: To be honest, not many mechanical core companies visit the college. The placement ratio is quite low, but the skill and dedication shown towards the branch can get you a good placement. The TPO cell is quite active and trying to grow each day for the benefit of the students. And the technical fest organised in the college will make you skilled.
Infrastructure: The labs here are quite good and in working condition. You will get a lot of exposure to subjects like manufacturing processes and tools, mechatronics, and thermodynamics in the lab. And most importantly, you will be able to learn most of the techniques in the lab itself. Classrooms are quite average.
Faculty: The faculty members of the Mechanical Department of the college are quite good and knowledgeable. They are understanding, focused on your overall development, and friendly too. But the guest faculty standards are quite low and immature. But the senior faculty will be there to rescue.
Other: College life will be fun. You will come in contact with college or departmental fest quite often. Developing yourself should be your primary motto if you expect any placement from this college. And the skills that make you industry ready are developed through your efforts and the college curriculum. Basically, self improvement is the key over here. And if you feel comfortable and confident, try taking a drop and reappearing in JEE if you want better from your life.

UEC is a good choice and value for money, and the placements are average.
Placements: Placements in Government Engineering College, Ujjain, are average and below average for core branches. In CSE and ECE, the placements are awesome. Chemical branch is the oldest department of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Ujjain Engineering College is not good, and some buildings are good as they were built recently. Mechanical engineering labs are good, and civil engineering labs are good. Chemistry and Physics labs are awesome.
Faculty: The faculty in Ujjain Engineering College are good, but some faculty are not supportive of students. The faculty in mechanical engineering are very good and supportive of students. The faculty are very strict about academics, especially HK Patel sir, but they are good.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering in this college because this college is a very good option according to my rank. The mechanical branch of this college is NBA accredited.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty members.
Placements: No internships are provided through college. You have to do internships on your own. This college provides average placements, generally, placements are for a few cores and IT companies. Around 50% of the students get placements. Few companies that visit are TCS, HCL, JP Cement, Jaro, etc. The steps include registering in TPO and participating in the placement drive.
Infrastructure: Hostel rent is very less for Rs. 1,500 a year. You will have twin room sharing. That is 2 students in one room. The food is arranged by students paying extra money which is around Rs. 2,000 monthly. Students prepare food by themselves, which is good.
Other: I opted for this course because I had an interest in mechanical engineering. I want to improve is the placements drive in our college. There are no events held here. I applied to all the state government colleges through Madhya Pradesh DTE counseling and I got CSE in UEC Ujjain TFW seat in 1st round then I went for an upgrade where I got an open category CSE seat. No, I have not availed any quota for admission because my category is general. You can get admission in UEC Ujjain through JEE only first you have to give JEE Main exam then based on your score you have to apply for Madhya Pradesh DTE Counselling and choice filling is done by yourself in which you have to fill your choice which college you want. You have to keep your dream college at top of the list. After the result of Madhya Pradesh DTE counseling, a time period of 5-7 days is provided to you to go and take admission in the college otherwise you have to sit in the next counseling round and follow the above same process. At college premises, you have to fill out a detailed form for admission in which you have to give details about you and your academics and address and guardian details.

It is far better than any other private engineering college here, and I rate it 2.8 out of 5.
Placements: The placements are mostly offered by IT companies. This year, a student of CS was offered 20 LPA by Walmart. However, the placements in the core field are rare, and one has to go for off-campus placements. But the new TPO cell is hardworking, and due to the efforts by the new TPO officer, most of the companies came for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old, and the hostel has lots of politics in it. But the hostel is way affordable, 3,000 per year. The library is decent with good books. The classrooms are fine. The canteen is not up to the mark. The college ground is huge, but not many facilities are available. Everything is just fine, but don't keep high expectations.
Faculty: The teachers for the mechanical department are fine and know the content well. Physics teachers are brilliant. Getting marks is not easy, but with lots of extra effort, one might get something above 6 (it's that hard). The TEQIP teachers might leave this year which is worrisome. However, the senior faculty are very knowledgeable and amazing.
Other: The mechanical engineering branch of UEC is known for its strong alumni base, with the alumni placed in TESLA, HP, the government of India, PSUs etc. The mechanical branch in the year 2021 got NBA accreditation which tremendously increased the value of the degree. The crowd in mechanical is mostly focused on GATE, and also some students participate in events such as Baja Sae etc. The labs are fine with workshops, however due to covid, we didn't get the chance to attend those workshops offline. The reserved category students get scholarships from the government. The mechanical branch also holds an MTM (Mech tech meet) event where various colleges participate in a plethora of events (not being held due to covid). If one works hard, they might get a decent CGPA. However, the placements for core branches are negligible yet. Efforts are being made to bring more companies for core branches under the new TPO officer, so everything must work fine in the near future.

Hello, hope you are doing well. No you will not get Ujjain Engeineering college because it is a government college and government college does not accept below cutoff scores. Cutoff is only for getting admission in government college. You will get some private college with this rank and Indore or Uj
