University College in the heart of Trivandrum.
Placements: I didn't get any placement opportunities from this college. None of them gets any campus placement from our department. Major roles offered in my course are getting an opportunity in the teaching field by qualifying UGC NET. The teachers always recommend history students to qualify NET and become assistant professors.
Infrastructure: Our college and hostel are built in the old British Victorian architecture. But college is not maintained properly. Lack of hygiene, lack of amenities, and toilet facilities. The administration is so pathetic in maintaining the building. College canteen is also very poor.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, but majority of them are selfish and not cooperative. Curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Exams are not properly conducted. Have a great library for department. This course in this college has a great role in the ranking of this university and provides the creation of a lot of memorable alumni.
Other: The campus is very close to Kerala University's library. It is very beneficial for our future. Rest of all are very bad compared to rest of the other colleges in Kerala. The college still has a great record in NIRF ranking.

Placements: This program has a placement cell that assists students in securing jobs and post-graduation. The median salary package offered approximately is 3.10 LPA. Top roles offered are librarians, professors, researchers, etc. This college is recognized for its academic excellence and has a strong reputation in Kerala.
Infrastructure: College provides seperate accomodation for boys and girls in hostel. It has basic amenities like shared rooms, mess, and study areas. For sports both indoor and outdoor options are available.
Faculty: Faculty members compromises of experienced professors and assistant professors specialized in history. Course is of two years covering a range of topics including ancient modern history. We have assessments, internals, project work, examinations, etc.

Really good campus, faculty members and environment.
Placements: I studied M.A. political Science during the years 2021-2023. This is a 2 year programme. The college is affiliated to Univer of Kerala, NAAC accredited A+. The environment of college is very suitable for studying this course. The debetes, seminar etc. Done by the political Science department and other departments are very much helpful for the academics of the students. The students acquire UGC NET at the same time.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very neat and tidy. Which is easily accessible to the department library. Student can also access the general library of the college. The close affinity with the university library and state library which is very close to the college premise is an added advantage to the students. College also provide active support in arts and sports. Every occassions are celebrated well. There is a canteen in the college. The university hostel for men and women are very close to the college. The food of the mess is okay type. Overall the life in this college is very alive.
Faculty: The faculty members are very qualified. Most of the faculty members possess net, Ph.D. mphill. The results of the college is very good. Every department have rank holders. The college possess 1 st rank among other colleges. This result is acquired simultaneously for 3 years. Semester exams are conducted on the basis of Kerala university.
Other: The campus is very good. Everybody will love the campus. One can actively enjoy the college life and also increase their academic inouts in this college. This college situates in the heart of trivandrum city. This college has a rich history and is established in the year 1866. Many immenent persons like O. N. V Kurupp have studied in this college.
