Amazing faculty and top-notch infrastructure.

Placements: Beginning in the fourth semester, students are eligible for on-campus internships. The big four companies, Amazon, and other multinationals come to our university and offer an average of Rs 6,000,000 per year. The maximum package offered is Rs 15,000,000 per year, and the average package is Rs 3,000,000 per year.

Infrastructure: You can choose between regular and AC rooms, with 1 or 2 students per room depending on your preference. The meals are good; you will receive chicken twice a week and eggs twice a week, which means 4 out of 7 days you will have non-vegetarian options. The hostel is located on the campus. Hostel Fee: INR 72,000 per year.

Faculty: All the teachers here are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good, and from time to time, they give us homework. They are always determined to solve our problems and do everything possible to help us understand. I feel that the curriculum is relevant and helps prepare students well enough for the industry. The semester exam is a little more difficult for new students as they have to deal with the new education system. Overall, a good university.

It is a good college to study.

Placements: More than 50% of students get placed in our college. Many students got jobs in IT companies.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. Food served in the canteen is good. Many labs are available such as computer labs, etc. Library is good. Games and sports are available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and very knowledgeable. Semester exams are difficult. The pass marks are 24. Lab exams are also conducted. The course curriculum helps students to learn computers. The teaching is very good.

Other: I chose this course because BCA has much scope and is related to computers. Our college organises extracurricular activities and many events. It provides scholarships. Students can study HTML, web designing, etc., to get jobs.

A dream college that you've never seen before

Placements: Placements at Bangalore University are really good. Most of the students after their degree can easily find jobs through University placements. So I am really grateful for this. And also I got placed in Wipro in 2021. My friends also got jobs through placement drives. It's really great.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Bangalore University is very beautiful. Students feel proud and confident about their college so they get a positive feeling about their studies. The classrooms are becoming high-tech and digital classrooms are also available. The laboratory and auditorium were also awesome.

Faculty: All HODs of every department teach very passionately and they behave friendly with students. So every student gets inspired to study. But they are a bit more unsatisfied with guest faculty members. Because they do not teach well due to their inexperience. They don't have practical knowledge about the theory as well as practicals.

Other: The cultural programmes at Bangalore University are really helpful. All students get opportunities in their own interests so no one remains with a lack of opportunities. Also, this college is very enjoyable.

How can I get into University Evening College, Mangalore for UG/PG courses? Am I eligible for admission?

University Evening College, Mangalore has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.A.	Candidate must have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
B.Com	Candidate must have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
M.A.	Candidates who have studied Konkani as either the first or second language at the graduate degree level for not less than two years/four semesters are also eligible to apply provided such applicants have secured not less than 60% marks in aggregate in the examination of the subject. The marks scored in the Konkani First or Second language examinations would be equated with the marks of the optional Konkani (the cognate subject) as follows:60% in Konkani First or Second language to 45% of optional Konkani (the cognate subject).Candidates who have passed any Bachelor degree examination of Mangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto and have secured an aggregate minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates) marks are also eligible to apply if seats are left vacant after considering applications from category 1 and 2 above. The candidates from this category, i.e.; category 3 would be selected solely on the basis of an entrance test designed to test (a) the candidates' ability to read, write and speak Konkani fluently, and (b) a basic awareness of the literary world of Konkani.
M.Com	Candidate must have B.Com/B.B.M or equivalent with mentioned marks in the aggregate in commerce subjects from any recognised university.
BCA	Candidate must have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
Certificate	Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or any other examination considered as equivalent theretoLanguage shall be eligible. Admission will be made strictly in order of merit based on the degree/certificate in each of the following categories:1.Post Graduate and above2.Graduate3.10+2Students who are studying 10+2/Graduate/Post Graduate Level or its equivalent levels may do this programme along with regular classes.
UG Diploma	Candidates who have passed the certificate examination in German language conducted by Mangalore University or any other recognised University is eligible for admission. Admission will be made strictly in order of merit of the respective Certificate examination.Candidates who have obtained their certificate in German language from any other institution one year before the year of admission shall be required to appear for an admission test to be conducted by the university.
MBA/PGDM	Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.
