Review of University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, Panjab University.

Placements: Most students were placed in sales departments of different companies. The package they offered was really good. HR-related placements were also very good that came in the campus. Some big banks, like HDFC Bank, also came in for the placements.

Infrastructure: They have smart boards in every classroom, which makes it easy for the students to present their presentations made through PowerPoint. The canteen was really good and it was very clean. The washrooms are very neat and clean and also the medical facilities are there.

Faculty: The professors in the department are very hardworking, and they are very helpful to the students as well. The exams that take place on campus are taken in a proper way by the faculty from time to time. The course that is offered by the campus is good.

Other: I had the best time of my life on campus. The events that take place from time to time on campus are very good.

Panjab university the best university.

Placements: The placement record of our university is very good and almost 90 percent students gets placed in multi national company through campus placements in companies like wipro, Infosys, Hdfc, Axis bank etc. Almost every student got internship from various it companies.

Infrastructure: The university campus is best in class and among the best colleges in northern india and infrastructure got almost every facilities like 24x7 library, hostel facility, swimming pool, cricket ground, Wi-Fi facility, canteen and many more things, I can say that it got the best in class campus.

Faculty: The teaching faculty department is highly educated and experienced. Every lecturer in our university has got more than 5 years of teaching experience and all of them are very helpful and friendly in nature. They make the students industry ready and not olny theoretically but also practically ready.

Other: I chose this course because it has more scope in future and the placement record of the university is very good.

The college is good to study.

Placements: Students have to struggle a bit for getting the placements. If you are good enough and capable, you will be able to bag approximately 7.5 LPA, as our super seniors got it. Still, this is just a rough idea about placements. When our seniors get placed, then I will get to know well about the placements.

Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility, a computer lab, and a library with more than 20,000 books to read and to borrow. You can also get books issued from AC Joshi library, which is having more than two lacs books. There is greenery all-round the campus. The roads are nice, clean, and well-maintained. The classrooms are air-conditioned. Although the canteen is not maintained properly, the quality of the food provided is amazing.

Faculty: The teachers in the college are good and very helpful. They give their 100% to students. They are knowledgeable and highly qualified too. Their teaching quality is good. They use projectors and presentations for teaching. They give assignments and presentations, and there is a small group discussion.

Very good b-school but could be more better.

Placements: Placements are good Companies like HDFC LTD, HDFC BANK, AXIS BANK, NAUKARI.com, Zs, visits for the placement. Roles of customer seevice officer, management trainee, assistant manager etc. are offered. Average salary of 5 lac was offered. Approximately 80% got internship from the college.

Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure. We have fully air conditioned room and proper furniture for students as well as professors. Smart Rooms with presentations faculty members in every class. Amazing canteen Just need more cleanliness so as to maintain proper hygiene for girls.

Faculty: Superb faculty members, very well educated, helpful plus innovative. They use different methods to teach e.g play, games so as to make it more interesting and increase the students participation and build confidence. The course curriculum indeed is very useful. No industry exposure, not for banking and insurance.

Dual specialization in a department which is in India's the best universities.

Placements: The department of UIAMS, PU is an above average labelled institution where the packages vary from 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA. The average package is about 5 LPA. Almost all companies of the various current domains visit the campus every year and provide with specialised positions as per the student division.

Infrastructure: Regular computer labs, library, medical facilities along with projectors and other technical instruments are available at the department premises along with one of the best libraries of our country in the North campus. Proper canteen as well as mess system in and around the department with proper hostel facilities for various departments within the vanity of the university.

Faculty: Presence of very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable faculty who stresses both on theory as well as the practical studies. We are studying in the department of UIAMS. Most of the domains do get industry exposure, to increase the real-life knowledge and skills of the students.

A good B-School which can be improved a little more.

Placements: Overall, the placements were pretty average. Packages offered were quite good though the number of students placed were very less. Most of the students got placed in marketing and sales field and the average package offered was 4 lacs. Major recruiters were HDFC Bank, HDFC Limited, Naukri, S&P, Axis, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure too is quite good. It includes fully computerised laboratories, stationary shop with xerox machine, Wi-Fi enabled campus, library with quality books and a fully air conditioned reading room. Medical first aid is there in case of an emergency.

Faculty: The entire faculty is very helpful, knowledgeable and most of them hold a doctorate degree. Apart from theory, due emphasis is laid on practical applications. The student to faculty ratio is 40:1. Students are motivated regularly to work on live projects so that they can get industrial exposure as well.

Satisfying exposure and desirable placements.

Placements: The placements have been up to expectation (in terms of companies visiting and the designation offered). Both for the present and the last batches. Some 40% of the students have been placed by the 3rd semester, and the minimum salary package is 2.5 lakh/annum, and the maximum is 6 lakhs per annum, which has been offered till now. The companies that have visited are the HDFC, Axis bank etc. The roles which are offered by companies are marketing analyst, HR, etc., have been offered.

Infrastructure: All the provisions in the department are well organised. The computer lab, the library, reading room and well-furnished classrooms with modern technology like projectors and the magnetic whiteboards are provided. Clean surroundings and the parking lot has been provided. For refreshments, a cafeteria is also provided.

Faculty: All the faculty members have years of experience and with their cooperative and creative way of teaching that has made the learning more enjoyable. The course curriculum well complies with the standards of the companies and their requirements. Theoretical, as well as practical knowledge, is appropriate. Additional benefits come along with the various projects and conferences that happen during the journey where one can seek a platform to participate and organize the event too. This imparts a lot of exposure for the aspiring students in their respective fields.

Other: Because of self-financing course of the university, it is still developing in many aspects. However, it has all the necessary ingredients required for grooming the student's performance and calibre. Also, the staff is very helpful and motivating. Everything is scheduled well in time and examinations bring the best out of a student. Many other events like cultural fests and occasions like Lohri, Diwali etc., are celebrated for the hostlers and the day scholars.

An excellent campus of Punjab University. Unforgettable moments are spent here.

Placements: The placement is around Rs. 2 lacs to Rs. 3 lacs per annum. But, the LEAP academy provides good placements to the students. It teaches new skills to the students and provides new opportunities as well. Overall, the placement cell of the LEAP is very good. You can polish your skills there and also grab some new opportunities. You can make a bright future through the Mukand placement cell. The faculty is also very good and cooperative as well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not much good, but it is nice. All the equipment are available on the campus. Overall, the campus is beautiful. The library is also good and AC classrooms are available as well. The labs are also good. As it is a university campus, free medical facilities are also provided. The university provides all the facilities necessary for sports and the games. The food provided in the canteen is very well. The hostel room facilities among others are also available on the campus.

Faculty: The faculty team is very intelligent, helpful, well-qualified and has good communication skills. They are supportive and use the PPT method for teaching the student. They are punctual as well. I didn't get any industry exposure. Study material provided by the department is also good. Our faculty members come from approved institutions, i.e., the director is from IIM-A, and the technical faculty members are from IITs, NITs and PEC. They are well-experienced, so all of us are lucky to have them. We can learn a lot from them. Their concept and the way of teaching are so good that I am satisfied with my department at the Punjab University.
