So basically, if any student wants to take admission.
Placements: My name is Pradeep Kushwah from Bhopal, and I am a B.Tech CSE graduate from RGPV University. My placement percentage is 0% in my university. When I joined, university faculty said there would be 100% placement, but after 4 years, 0% of students are placed. I am currently looking for a job in IT, but I still have no job for a fresher. This is very disappointing for all students. University management should provide at least 50% placement so that some students get jobs and the college's reputation does not go down. However, no college takes this seriously.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but my hostel is not well-maintained. The college library is very old and not updated by the management team. There is no proper management team in my college. The food quality is not good, so students prefer staying in other hostels instead of the college hostel. I did not get a chance to play any sports during my 4 years in college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but the management is not good. Exams are conducted strictly by examiners, and classrooms are regularly checked. My CGPA is approximately 8.0, but it does not matter if students remain unemployed. There are no proper curriculum activities available.
Other: My batch is passing out in 2026, but I am still unemployed and not settled after graduation. I am currently looking for a job. Events are organized, but the college takes contributions from students, so many students do not participate. The quality of events and professors should be improved, and new teachers should be appointed.

Personal experience at UIT RGPV.
Placements: Placement opportunities are quite good in this college with an average package of 5-6 LPA from leading companies like TCS, Wipro, Ultratech, etc. Placement rate is about 75 percent. There are no placements for civil and petrochemical branch students.
Infrastructure: Each department has its own building and they have facilities like a water cooler, a fan, chairs, a library, etc. There is a canteen with affordable rates for food items. The sports complex is also available for students. There are 4 boys' and 2 girls' hostels. The campus fee is Rs. 4,800 per annum and a mess fee is about Rs. 2,600-2,900. There is a central library inside the campus that has a wide variety of books for each course and subjects available in college along with magazines, general knowledge books, newspapers, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and supportive. There are well-qualified faculty with great teaching experience. Some faculty members are from IITs and have 15 plus years of teaching experience. There are 3 mid-semester exams and one end-of-semester exam along with practical exams in each semester. One has to attempt at least 2 mid sem exams to qualify for the end-semester exams. Exams are not too tough at my college. They can be qualified with faculty teaching and 3-4 hours of daily study.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and curriculum.
Placements: Placements are average. Only students with branches like EC, EE, CS, and IT can get placed at companies with low packages. Most students prefer to go for higher studies and prepare for competitive exams like GATE, SSC (JEE), and CAT.
Infrastructure: Campus and infrastructure are good, but specifically, the boys' hostels are very bad. They don't have seats for general students. The hygiene and the food are very bad in the boys' hostels. The boys' hostels we have after the first year are quite decent, and they have facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they help you a lot in your studies. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. I don't think this curriculum is industry-ready and not relevant like almost all state engineering colleges. The semester exams are difficult and the syllabus is very vast. Faculty members are not very strict.

College is good, they have the purpose of only a degree.
Placements: 40% percent student are hired, and the highest package is 12 LPA. TCS is hiring. The lowest packages are 2 LPA, but your goal was to be placed in college, so you have to study. Mass hiring is only by TCS. 20-30% student are hire in internship, and the best degree is in B.Tech, but students are informed only of a degree college and expect more. Placement is not good.
Infrastructure: College is good, and all the facilities are okay. The library and e-library are the best. The canteen is okay, but the facilities are good. So many area cover college, and the college sports stadium is not open. The infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are not helping the students; they are very rude in communication, but the teachers are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good, but the practical knowledge is not good. The semester exams are too tough, and they are too strict, you have to study more than you pass it.

It has decent academics with helpful faculty members.
Placements: About 70 percent of students get placed, and many students prepare for exams like GATE and CAT. Most of my friends are placed in core companies. My students are also placed in companies like Havells, Adani Power, Andritz Hydro, Mandideep, Bhopal, and Volvo Eicher in Bhopal and Indore, and they worked very well.
Infrastructure: There is a well-maintained infrastructure in my college. In the electrical course, there are very good chairs, AC classes, and very good infrastructure. Our college has a central library with many books for semester exams and also for GATE, UPSC, CAT, and ESE.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and very supportive. They also support placement and career. The course curriculum is very relevant and industry-oriented. In my college, semester exams are very difficult, especially in the electrical department.

Good placements in 2025, and some faculty members are really awesome.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed in companies like Volvo (core), Eicher (core), Andritz Hydro (core), TCS, Walkover, etc. With the highest package of 9 LPA and in core it was 7 LPA, whereas the lowest package was around 3.5 LPA, but the majority of the students got placed, and the rest prepared for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Departmental labs were really outstanding, and electrical machines labs were even better than MANIT labs. The departmental library and classrooms were well-maintained. Hostel rooms were good as they had good furniture and continuous water and electricity supply.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and tried their level best to uplift you, and the course curriculum was industry-oriented and exam-oriented too, like GATE and government exams for electrical engineering. There were some subjects that were felt comfortable for students, so they must try to pass that subject instead of getting full marks, because sometimes covering too much leads to forgetting a lot.
Other: If you are interested in electrical engineering, then you should choose this course. The department is good. Fests, meetings, and training were also really good for personal growth.
