It has decent academics with helpful faculty members.
Placements: About 70 percent of students get placed, and many students prepare for exams like GATE and CAT. Most of my friends are placed in core companies. My students are also placed in companies like Havells, Adani Power, Andritz Hydro, Mandideep, Bhopal, and Volvo Eicher in Bhopal and Indore, and they worked very well.
Infrastructure: There is a well-maintained infrastructure in my college. In the electrical course, there are very good chairs, AC classes, and very good infrastructure. Our college has a central library with many books for semester exams and also for GATE, UPSC, CAT, and ESE.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and very supportive. They also support placement and career. The course curriculum is very relevant and industry-oriented. In my college, semester exams are very difficult, especially in the electrical department.

Good placements in 2025, and some faculty members are really awesome.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed in companies like Volvo (core), Eicher (core), Andritz Hydro (core), TCS, Walkover, etc. With the highest package of 9 LPA and in core it was 7 LPA, whereas the lowest package was around 3.5 LPA, but the majority of the students got placed, and the rest prepared for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Departmental labs were really outstanding, and electrical machines labs were even better than MANIT labs. The departmental library and classrooms were well-maintained. Hostel rooms were good as they had good furniture and continuous water and electricity supply.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and tried their level best to uplift you, and the course curriculum was industry-oriented and exam-oriented too, like GATE and government exams for electrical engineering. There were some subjects that were felt comfortable for students, so they must try to pass that subject instead of getting full marks, because sometimes covering too much leads to forgetting a lot.
Other: If you are interested in electrical engineering, then you should choose this course. The department is good. Fests, meetings, and training were also really good for personal growth.

The infrastructure was good. To be honest, placements were fewer, especially in the core sector.
Placements: 20-30% students get placed. Students gets placed in different sector especially it sector. In core sector is less but you have an advantage of switching to other field. Core branches have great opportunities in government sector especially in psu known for high paying salary.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained and well-furnished across the whole campus, even featuring air-conditioned classrooms. There are good lab facilities and Wi-Fi throughout the campus. There is also an activity room in which various indoor activities are available, like table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. Overall, the facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you are willing to seek help from them. The teaching quality is moderate. Some courses are very beneficial, like PLC and SCADA systems, which are in demand in industries nowadays. The passing criteria are the bare minimum. If you study well, you can easily clear the semester.
Other: This course is based on a scholarship. You have to invest only in rent and food. The course fee is entirely covered by the scholarship.

Good campus life and good infrastructure.
Placements: When we talk about the placements at our college, it is good as you have to work for yourself and develop skills. You cannot depend on the college for placements. Also, if you have good skills and good knowledge, you can definitely crack a good company. Core branches do not get enough placements; only a few companies come for the core. There are many seniors who have been placed in Google, Amazon, and other very good companies, but it was all their hard work.
Infrastructure: When we talk about the infrastructure of our college, it is pretty good, better than an average engineering college. It has a very big campus, and hostel facilities are better than average. Good food is served in the mess, sports events keep happening, there is a very big central library, and all other basic facilities are available and are pretty good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, interaction happens, and teaching is very good. When it comes to the electrical department, everything is so disciplined, and you will get to learn a lot from the department. Semester exams are not so difficult; they are average level. If you are an average student, you can easily get 7 to 7.2 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study core subjects and I am not at all interested in coding. The best thing about my course is that the electrical department of RGPV is so disciplined. If you really want to learn, you can learn a lot from here, be creative, and develop skills. The things I wish could be better are more placements and a reduction in the attendance criteria because we have to complete 75% attendance. Campus life is good; we have a huge campus, sports fests, and scholarships are provided.

Good infrastructure but placements are below average.
Placements: As I mentioned earlier in my college placements are not good. A maximum of 6-7 students are placed from my course. The highest package is around 14 LPA, and the average is around 3 LPA-4 LPA. The recruiting company is TCS. Only 4 to 5 students got internships from my course in local companies.
Infrastructure: College library is good. All types of books related to the course are available in library. We also have a departmental library. But there is no proper facility of drinking water. Washrooms are not cleaned frequently. Washrooms are shared and can be a weak point. Cleanliness varies, but many students complain about water shortage or poor maintenance in holder hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant. Semester exam papers are easy, but teachers give very less marks. The teachers in my department are very good and help a lot. Classes are held daily. But they give a lot of assignments.
Other: I didn't want to choose this course, but according to my percentile, I had been allotted this course. My wish would be to improve the placement cell. There are no extracurricular activities, events, or fests are not organized. The biggest problem in this college is attendance. If the attendance is not 75%, then they do not allow mid-semester exams.

janvi's review for rgpv university
Placements: Our college provides an internship with recommendations. The faculty was helpful in getting us internships at companies like SAIL and Kiswok Industries. The seniors were also very helpful in providing internships. We had to do a project on the training and give a presentation to the college. This experience helped me in my interviews. Tata Metallic, JSL, JSW, JSPL, Trishan Metals Private Ltd, Kiswok Industries Ltd, Reshmi Metal, and Wipro visited our college. More than 10 companies visited for a batch strength of 55. The companies offered CTCs ranging from a minimum of 1 lac to 3 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and all around only green and green. Classrooms need some repairs and lights. No Wi-Fi is there. But the labs are well. Semester books are provided by the library, which is good enough. All types of cultural activities like freshmen welcome, social for farewell the passouts, Biswakarma puja, Saraswati puja, festival, etc. are arranged by the college authority.
Faculty: The facilities are good but there could be better quality facilities. The way of teaching is not very effective, as they doesn't seem to grab the attention of all the students and make the learning interesting. But if we need any help, then we can approach them and they'll be happy to help. The students and teachers ratio is about 1:16 so it is good. Our respected teachers provided us with a lot of support and help, which also motivated us to go for higher studies further. Their teaching methods are very good. They have too many experiences in industry and teaching. Some of them have PhD and MTech degrees from NIT or equivalent institutes. Every year we have to give two semesters along with practical exams.
Other: I chose metallurgy because I have an interest in manufacturing technology and research work in material development.

University Institute of Technology RGPV at a glance.
Placements: In this college, students with a CGPA of 8.5 and above can secure placements, with an average package of 4.5 LPA. It's a very nice college, and over 50 percent of students in my branch receive internships and many opportunities.
Infrastructure: The hostel provides various facilities, including a mess, sports complex, and gym. Classrooms are neat and clean for all students, and there is a sports complex where they can participate in various events, especially within my branch building.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very attentive and also strict. The course is divided into five subunits, and the semester exams are not very tough. The passing marks are above 33, which is achievable for all students, whether they are strong or weak academically.
Other: I chose this subject because of my interest in the electrical branch, which offers many opportunities.

My college gives me the best memories.
Placements: Placements are not that good; they are decent, and mostly students don’t get on-campus placements. Students often find themselves unemployed after completing their degree. Despite having a placement cell, the outcomes are not as expected.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautiful and impressive. I love my college campus, and the hostel is also good. The infrastructure for the electrical branch is particularly attractive, and the classrooms are comfortable for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and experienced. They help students with every problem and are very good at teaching. All teachers are masters in their fields and provide students with opportunities to gain experience through projects.
Other: I like my college campus, and my teachers are responsible and good.
