JEC Jabalpur Cutoff 2025: Check JEE Main Round Wise Ranks

Jabalpur Engineering College accepts JEE Main and MP BE scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to the BTech courses. JEC Jabalpur JEE Main counselling 2023 was concluded after the release of Round 2 Seat Allotment Result. Jabalpur Engineering College accepts MPPET Counselling for admission to the MCA course. MPPET Counselling 2023 was concluded after Round 1 of the Seat Allotment Result. As per the JEC Jabalpur cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for the MCA course was 1412 for the General category student under the All India Quota. For the Home State Quota, the last round closing rank stood at 1634 for the General category student. So, considering the latest year cutoff trend, candidates seeking admission to JEC Jabalpur MCA course must secure a rank between 1400 and 1412 for the General All India category student. 

JEE Main cutoff is of two types, one is qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced and the other is admission cutoff for the institutes. JEE Main qualifying cutoff is released by the NTA along with the result and is in the form of percentile scores. NTA releases JEE Main cutoff for a total of six categories which include unreserved (CRL), Gen-EWS, Open-PwD, OBC-NCL, SC and ST. JEE Main admission cutoff is released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority JoSAA and is in the form of All India Rank.

Jabalpur Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering from a recognised board.
M.Sc.	Candidate must have passed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. 3YDC) with Physics as one of the major or main subject in all the examinations or equivalent examination by University approved by UGC, New Delhi/AIU, New Delhi in appropriate branch with at least mentioned marks or equivalent Grade in the aggregate. Candidates belonging to Reserve Categories of Madhya Pradesh will get relaxation in the qualifying marks as per the rules of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Admission to Applied Science Courses shall also be given to the Engineering Graduates having B.E. Degree with Grade C+ and Grade point 6.0 of this University or equivalent are also eligible to apply.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant branch of Engg./Technology with above mentioned percentage. The mentioned SC/ST percentage is for Madhya Pradesh residents. Candidate belonging to OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh should have at least 45%. Bachelors degree should be of minimum of four years duration and have been obtained from any AICTE approved institution or Indian University/ Institute or from a foreign University recognised by AIU or any Institutes of national importance (i.e. IITs/ IISc/NITs etc.) duly recognised by the MHRD, as equivalent thereto. Candidates in the Final year of above degree examinations can also apply on provisional basis. Rounding of marks or percentage is not permissible.

The overall seats available across all courses offered by Jabalpur Engineering College is up to 945. Good thing to know is that Jabalpur Engineering College has courses which are approved by prominent Government bodies like AICTE.

Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) admits 18 students to its M.E. in Environmental Engineering program. To be eligible, applicants need to have at least 50% in their graduation. The total tuition for the course is INR 20,000. 

Only GATE-qualified candidates shall be admitted to Full-time P.G. courses. When GATE-qualified candidates are unavailable, admission shall be given on merit to those not qualified in GATE conducted by Indian Institute Of Technology.

The first cut off at Jabalpur Enginnering College will be released after the first counselling round. The cutt off will be released in the months of July and August. This year, JoSAA 2024 counselling will consist of five rounds only. Further, CSAB will release two additional counselling rounds for admissions to UG degree programmes in engineering, technology, and architecture.
