MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. UPES Dehradun offers MBA in 25 specialisations under 12 core streams through the UPES School of Business. The Global MBA course of UPES is offered for a duration of two-year with one-year in campus and another year in overseas universities. Check below some of the MBA specialisations:

Selection for UPES Dehradun BTech course depends on JEE Main/CUET UG scorecard. Alternatively, 50 percentile in SAT India Score and 75%-80% in Class 12. Or, you can also appear for UPESESAT which is conducted by the university. The eligibility depends on minimum marks of 50% in aggregate for Class 10 and Class 12. The subject combination is as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English in Class 12.

After completing BBA students normally go for pursuing MBA. They can also explore job opportunities in various fields such as banking, urban infrastructure and real estate management, business consultancies, advertising, manufacturing and government sectors.  UPES Dehradun offers over 72 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels through nine schools and UPES Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The courses are offered in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Science, Business, etc. The university conducts its own entrance exams like UPESMET, UPESMET UG, UPESPAT, etc. for providing admission to specific courses. Apart from these, UPES Dehradun also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET UG, NEET, JEE Main, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for UG courses. A minimum of graduation is required for PG courses. 

Candidates who have passed graduation in any stream along with Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate can apply for MBA course. Apart from meeting the eligiiblity requirement, candidates also need to pass either UPESMET/ CAT/ CUET PG  for admission to MBA course. In case, any aspirant fails to secure the minimum marks* specified by the university, he or she will need to appear for UPESMET. For admission to Global MBA, aspirants only need to come for the PI round. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview round for further selection. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants will need to prove their eligibility by provding necessary documents for verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

BTech is one of the top courses of UPES Dehradun. As per NIRF 2022 rankings, the university was ranked at 61 position under 'Engineering' category. The rankings saw a jump from 91 position in 2021 and 167 position in 2020. Apart from the Engineering course, UPES Dehradun was also the part of NIRF Ranking under 'University' category. Recently, the university also found a place in 'Overall' category of NIRF 2022 rankings. Not only in terms of position, the university also provides excellent placement opportunities to BTech students. As per the latest report, over 250 recruiters participated and presented over 2,000 job offers to the class of 2023. Further, the highest and average package offered to School of Computer Science students during UPES placements 2023 stood at INR 36 LPA and INR 8.66 LPA, respectively.
