Placements: The placements here at UPES are fine around 80 percent of the students in our senior batches are placed in well reputed companies. The highest package that is offered to a geo Science student is around 12 to 14 Lacs and the lowest is around 3 Lacs to a student.

Most of them got IT companies like IBM, Infosys, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, etc. The average package was around 3 LPA but I can't exactly remember the highest and lowest salaries offered. Placements: Placement of the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is very good. Placement was nearly 90% in our batch. Companies from different domains visited the campus and students got selected with appropriate salary packages and job profiles. Joining letters were offered to students at a proper time and companies that visited also showed an interest towards summer internships of third-year students.

Infrastructure: The campus is situated in Dehradun, at the foot of the Himalayas which provide the best environment for students to learn.
