UPES Online is one of the constituent colleges of UPES Dehradun. UPES Online is approved by the UGC, the AICTE and the DEB. The Centre has the aim of imparting quality education to the working professionals. It offers over 20 distance education courses at UG, PG, Diploma and Certification levels. Admissions to these courses are merit-based and available in both online as well as offline mode. Additionally, students learn through online classes, wherein they get live webinar sessions by the teachers.
UPES Online Admission Process 2024: Fast Facts
As per the admission process of UPES Online, candidates are granted admission based on their academic record, work experience and counselling conducted by UPES. For degree programmes, UPES Online follows two admission cycles, which include January and July admission session. For both the sessions, admissions close in the month of Feb and September, respectively. Here are some fast facts related to UPES Online admission process:
- BBA admissions are granted based on candidates’ scores in Class 12
- For admission to any of the Advanced Diploma courses, candidates must have done diploma in Engineering/ Polytechnic or have completed graduation/ post-graduation
- Preference is given to the candidates who have a minimum of two years of work experience in the relevant area
- For admission to PG level courses, candidates must hold a graduation degree

There are no entrance exams for UPES ON's online degrees and certificate programmes. However, students must look into the basic eligibility criteria before submitting the application form online. Students with 50% marks in graduation can submit their applications for the online MBA programmes.
