The highest packages are up to 150 LPA (international) and 60 LPA (domestic), with the average package around 5–6 LPA, and the lowest around 2.5–3.5 LPA per holder. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, TCS, Capgemini, and Infosys. About 30 percent of students reported internships in companies like Google, Zscaler, Hike, IBM, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: The university offers good facilities for the B.Sc. IT department, including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, and a resourceful central library. Hostels are clean, secure, and provide Wi-Fi, 24/7 electricity, and common rooms. The mess and canteen food are hygienic and decent, with multiple options. Medical needs are handled through an on-campus health centre with first-aid and ambulance availability. The campus also has indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including grounds, courts, and recreation areas. Overall, the infrastructure is well-maintained and student-friendly.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is considered good, with practical learning support. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented, including workshops, labs, projects, and certification that help students become job-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, manageable with regular study. The pass percentage usually ranges between 85%–95%, depending on the course and department.
Other: I chose the B.Sc. IT course because I wanted strong technical skills and good career opportunities in IT. The best things about the course are its practical labs, supportive faculty, updated curriculum, and good placement exposure. I wish there were more advanced coding workshops and industry tie-ups for added hands-on experience. The university hosts regular events, fests, and tech activities, and the campus crowd is friendly and diverse. The campus is well-connected, with a clean and green environment. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are also available, making the overall student experience positive.

Placements: Placements are good at Uttranchal University. It provides wide opportunities for students. Placements depend on students on how they garb the opportunities that college provides. But overall campus placements are great at Uttranchal University, Dehradun.
Infrastructure: It has a big and open infrastructure. It has a green campus. It provides a clean mess and canteen. Wi-Fi is provided. There are ventilated labs and classrooms. It has a quite good library. All types of books are available in the library. There is a reading room for students in the library.
Faculty: The teaching quality is quite good. Teaching faculty members provide quality teaching. The course curriculum is up-to-date and trending it keeps students informed about the industry that they are about to pursue. Semester exams are average, not too difficult nor too easy.
Other: It organises great events, fests, and extracurricular activities. It also organises fun sports events and games events.

I am satisfied with the good faculty and placements in 2024.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Telecommunication and IT companies are the top recruiters to visit. About 85% of students got internships. Roles offered include IT consultant, IT project manager, and programmer.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is good, highly clean, and well-maintained. Food in the mess is more than average, offering a variety of meals at different hours. Students from various cultures enjoy the meals. In addition to the mess, we have a cafeteria and bakehouse to cater to students.
Faculty: \Teachers are highly qualified with excellent teaching and non-teaching skills, along with strong English-speaking and understanding abilities. They operate with a friendly nature, and students from all fields gain advanced knowledge. Our professors are not only teachers but also the best guides one can expect.

It was a good college and had a great experience.
Placements: More than half the class got placed in various MNCs like Zscaler, Accenture, Deloitte, Adobe, Womenaki and many more. The highest package offered was 13 LPA in Zscaler and the lowest was Accenture with 3.45 LPA. The roles offered were like developing, team manager, and technical assistant.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms and computer labs with all the required software were installed on the PC. The network quality was also good and the PCs provided by the university were powerful enough for college students. There was an extra faculty for maintaining the PC.
Faculty: The maximum number of faculty members were good and knowledgeable. Faculty were always helpful in academic and non-academic fields. The teaching quality was good; the syllabus was always completed on time and revisions were always done by the teachers. The curriculum was relevant and every new semester there was a new programming language that was taught and the students had to make projects in that language. Exams are easy to pass if you study; otherwise, some students also fail. Aggregate marks should be above 40 out of 100, including internal exams, practicals, project and external exams, to pass.
Other: The course was good but can be improved by providing subjects like AI and cloud computing.

It is a ragging-free college with the best infrastructure and better opportunities.
Placements: Almost 87% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 CPA. The lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top companies visit our college. Students got placed in Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It has well-ventilated rooms. The library has the best books. Our college has a huge ground and a sports room. All equipment is good for encouraging students. There are 2 beautiful auditoriums in our college.
Faculty: Teachers help students with every problem. Their way of teaching is very good. Every separate course has its coordinator who solves all problems. Teachers encourage students to talk and learn new things from seniors.
Other: I opted for this course because it enhances our knowledge and provides better opportunities. Our college is accredited by NAAC A+ grade in the whole state. It is one of the best colleges.
