They really took the effort to improve the quality of the course.
Placements: There were only around 100 students in our batch, and the placement percentage was very low. Very few, I would say 3 or 4 people, got jobs in companies that were average. 50% of students pursue an MBA after completing the course. 40% of students had family businesses, so they pursued business and were not interested in jobs. Only a few local companies came for placements, and TCS visited once or twice. The top roles offered were mostly in marketing and sales.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were good. They had annual sports, which were a very exciting part of the curriculum. There was an auditorium, badminton courts, table tennis, carrom, and cricket equipment. The canteen was average. One could easily get something decent to eat there. The library was very useful, and the computer labs were quite convenient and good to use. The college actively took part in several activities and encouraged students. The teaching department was also very good compared to other colleges in Sangli.
Faculty: Teachers were quite helpful and qualified. The curriculum was also very relevant. We've got to learn and explore a lot. The student attendance was also better compared to other colleges. We were encouraged to actively take part in presentations, discussions, and other learning activities. Teachers had also created a club where we could learn advanced English and do playful and entertaining activities that helped us learn. The exams were just as difficult as they were in other colleges. The passing percentage was over 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue an MBA, and I felt that BBA was best for that. I wished there were more practical activities included in the course. The events and fests were very exciting, the crowd was good, so it was very enjoyable. Students loved to take part. There was also a scholarship available for those who met certain criteria.
