For top roles, it completely depends on your knowledge and there are no placements so you need to prepare on your own.

Good learning experience with helpful faculty members and decent placements.
Placements: I pursued B.Sc. IT from BN Bandodkar College. Around 50% of students from our batch got placed. The highest package was 4 LPA, the lowest was 1.8 LPA, and average was 3.2 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini. About 40% of students got internships at Wipro, LTI, and startups, mainly in roles like software developer, web developer, and QA.
Infrastructure: Our B.Sc. IT department at BN Bandodkar College had good infrastructure, well-maintained computer labs with Wi-Fi, projectors, and updated systems. Classrooms were clean and comfortable. The library had all the necessary IT books and resources. There was no official hostel, but students usually stayed in nearby PGs. Canteen food was decent and budget-friendly. While medical support was basic, first-aid was available when needed. College also had a big ground and encouraged sports like cricket, football, and more through regular events.
Faculty: Faculty members in B.Sc. IT at BN Bandodkar College were helpful and had good knowledge. Some teachers were really good at explaining, while few just read from slides. Teaching overall was decent. The course curriculum was okay, it covered programming, database, and few other things, but some topics felt old. It was somewhat industry related but needs update.
Other: I was part of the B.Sc. IT batch at BN Bandodkar College. I chose this course because I liked coding and tech. The practical labs and projects were the best part. Syllabus could be more updated and hands-on. The college fests were fun. The crowd was friendly. The campus was well-connected and had good vibes. Sports and cultural events happened often, and scholarships were available too.

This is the fantastic college but not in terms of management operation.
Placements: I have not got any placement in this college and no companies also come here for placements. Basically, I am focusing on considering doing masters and then getting the job and anything else. This college was only for the degree and you should also not expect that the placement in planet courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was beautiful and the whole campus was very good. Labs and classrooms were wonderful. The library was there also but the Wi-Fi was the issue. This was an autonomous college that self empowered, so you could expect the facilities.
Faculty: All faculty members were very good. The course I am doing is the bachelors in biochemistry. Exams were taken by the semester which was two semesters per year. If you had any issues and went to the department for a solution, then you should have patience because that was the worst thing I had faced at this college.

B.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2024

Very good campus life and infrastructure.
Placements: I had just passed out of my B.Sc. Chemistry academics. There are no such placement opportunities for aided courses; however, in unaided courses, students get placed in IT and CS departments. The college placement cell has plenty of roles for students.
Infrastructure: The campus has very good infrastructure; all the buildings are well maintained. The classes and labs are well organized. The college premises are clean and nice. The canteen has decent food and meals. The gymkhana is active and has plenty of indoor games. The college library provides book bank facilities throughout the academic year for students.
Faculty: The overall academic course syllabus is well defined as per modern aspects. The entire curriculum consists of various projects, academic tours, and industrial visits. The exams are conducted on time as per the syllabus. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful; they interact with students and their teaching methods are very helpful throughout academics.
Other: The campus is really nice and huge. The college organizes it's annual Akansha Fest and many more co-curricular sports and NSS activities.

B.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2024
1.6

Dissatisfied because of many things. Totally a waste of time and money.
Placements: To be honest, there are no placements for this course. Packages totally depend on your skills and one needs to go out of campus for placements. No recruiting companies are here. No internship for any student; its just a degree course here without any skills. Top roles depend on the skills and knowledge of the students.
Infrastructure: Facilities available are quite common and are available in all colleges. There are no Wi-Fi facilities for students. Labs are good but not that suitable for students to learn. There are computers but they are old and may create problems or will not work well while performing practicals. The library is big with a variety of books.
Faculty: Teachers are doing their job of teaching but not preparing students to help them acquire more skills and be industry-ready. Practical knowledge is missing and needs to improve a lot. We need to focus on making students understand rather than completing the syllabus.
Other: I chose this course because it is worth learning and also from the point of view of today's world of digitalization. I want to acquire knowledge and be a software engineer. I wish there must be a course every semester to upgrade the skills of students. At least 70% of the focus needs to be on that to make students capable of getting jobs. The events conducted are good.

No value for money as well as for your future, if you are seriously dedicated.
Placements: Sorry to say but no companies approached the college for our branches so no placements, no nothing! No placements, so no packages, as mentioned above. No companies! No internships! For top roles, it completely depends on your knowledge and there are no placements so you need to prepare on your own.
Infrastructure: The classes are not spacious and they are old-fashioned. Not so good but average interior. There is no Wi-Fi service for students as such. The library is decent and there are various types of books and research papers available for students to acquire knowledge.
Faculty: Teaching quality was absolutely nothing. I respect teachers, but they focus only on bookish knowledge rather than just providing practical knowledge. (Aim is to only complete the syllabus.). Yes, it definitely makes sense, but it depends on college to college. Sorry to say but our college does not provide any internships or placements related to the computer science field. It is very easy to pass exams, and it depends from student to student. Pass percentage is more than 80%; most of the students get passed.
Other: I chose this course because it was quite interesting, as the name suggested and it was also related to my future ambitions. The best thing about courses is that we always get to learn new things as we are learning new technologies, new ways and digitalization. There needs to be some improvement in every aspect; things need to be sorted and teaching should be based more on practicality than practicality. Events are not large enough, and those conducted are also not up to par.

Outer infrastructure is good; don't get attracted by it. Absolutely dissatisfied; no placements.
Placements: Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor's degree. I am a student of TYBSC Computer Science and there is no hope of placements. At the beginning of our degree in FY, our head of department (Abhijeet Kale Sir) said many things about college, facilities and placements; all he said was fake. Any recruiting company does not visit our college; all the promises made by Kale sir were fake.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms are old-style, like there is no projector in the classroom, but labs are good. Literally, I have never tried canteen food so I don't know about it. Sports facilities are also not so good. The outer infrastructure of buildings is good, and the campus areas are beautiful. Students get attracted to the outer beauty of college; internal education is not good.
Faculty: It depends on the teachers; some are good and some are not; it depends on the different perspectives of different students. But the course curriculum is very poor. In the name of autonomous colleges, they teach us the old syllabus of Mumbai University, i.e., 2019. Even Mumbai University follows the latest syllabus of 2023–24. Passing the exam is very easy.
