Vijaya: The Women’s College Life

Placements: College placements are good and need improvement to focus more on placement drives. Fewer placements are available in our college. In that, most of the interviews are available in non-core sides only. In the core side, fewer placements are provided so that most of the students are not placed in interviews.

Infrastructure: In our college, we have a simple library, and fewer computer systems are available. The food in our hostel is not tasty and not healthy, and it will be available in less time, like 1 hour. And the canteen is also not maintaining hygiene. Labs are also not maintaining properly.

Faculty: The faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. They will teach well and support us in internships and projects. There are highly qualified faculty, and they will tell the subjects by taking real-world examples for our understanding and improving our knowledge.

Other: I want to share that our college has more placements available. It will be more helpful for the students. And much more maintenance should occur because they are providing fewer facilities for the students.

It is a very good college.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 4.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Infosys, and Wipro. We have advanced subjects, and they are very helpful for a better future.

Infrastructure: Laboratories are not well-equipped. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is a decent library in this college. Canteen is available. Sports are conducted in this college. Laboratories are also not air-conditioned.

Faculty: The pass percentage is average. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are difficult. If we work hard, we can easily score good marks. As it has self-center, exams are held strictly. CCTV surveillance is also available during exams.

Other: Cultural activities and national wide activities are conducted in our college.

Our college is only for women.

Placements: 85 percent of students got placed. The salary package offered is 5 to 6 LP. Our college's top package is with Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro. Coming to placements, our college is in the last position because no proper courses are taught in our college. This should improve at our college. There are two colleges, SRK Institute of Technology and Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women. They give the most preference to SRK.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, but for laptops, we should take our own phones. The labs are okay. The hostels are great, but the canteen doesn't offer good, healthy food. Sports are not conducted properly. Medical facilities are available in a good manner. Overall, facilities are very good except for a few things. Everything is good, but our college is very small, and that is my only regret.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, and the teaching is also very good. Not at all ready because there is no proper practice for interviews, and no one in our college is interested. Since our college is only for girls, we don’t know how to interact with boys. The pass percentage is 25 percent. I think semester exams are not too difficult.

Other: AI is the future, so I hope this is the best and trending technology course for the next generation. I chose this course because it’s trending in the market, but I don't think that my course will get any better. Everything is good; events and fests happen, but I think the campus crowd is less compared to other colleges, so I believe my college should improve.

Vijaya makes women proud.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed this year is very low. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Top companies visit the college to recruit students. The top roles offered are backend developer and project management.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in the college. Labs are maintained with updated versions. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the college. The hostel is also good and worth the money. It is also very hygienic, and the menu will be changed every week. On Sunday, we get non-veg. Medical and sports facilities are provided on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and almost all are PhD-qualified and knowledgeable persons. The explanation is also very clear with examples and an understandable way for all students. The course curriculum is relevant to the outside practical and it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are easy when we understand and study.

Other: The college is good, and events are conducted every 2 weeks. Many prizes are also distributed, and they encourage every student to participate in events. There is no bias against any student. The crowd is good, and every student will enjoy nature on the campus.
