Review of VIVA Institute of Technology.

Placements: From 2019 batch, out of 120 students, only 30% of the students got placed through college, while the rest 50% of the students applied for jobs outside the campus. The remaining students either opted for further studies or are preparing for various government entrance exams. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month with other allowance and were sorted out by appitude and GD depending upon the type of company and job requirement. Various recruiting companies in central government and PSU's like IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, ISRO, CELL, RRB and ONGC offer placements. Various types of jobs in private sector companies and consultancy are offered here. Assistant site engineer was the top role offered through campus recruitment. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Internships are not offered as only jobs are offered.

Infrastructure: Our college is situated in Shirgaon, Virar (E), which is quite far from the station, but it is peaceful and has a nice environment. Our college offers courses like BE degree in mechanical, civil, EXTC, electrical and computers. Labs are quite average, but the teaching staff members are quite experienced. Overall, it is a nice college.

Faculty: Teachers here are supportive and solve your doubts immediately. Every teacher has a masters degree, and overall teaching for different subjects is fine. Few teachers might trouble you once in a while, but you surely learn something out of it. Almost every topic is covered, which is provided in the university curriculum.
