Vivekananda College review for B.Com (Hons).

Faculty: Teachers in B.Com (Hons) CBCS are helpful but the way of teaching differs from one to another. The syllabus is wide but not very practical. Exams happen on time, though most papers test memory more than real understanding, so it does not feel fully useful for future jobs.

Review of Vivekananda College, Kolkata.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, and they do their job well in teaching as well as in practical labs. The course curriculum is quite regular and covers the necessary subjects. But it is not fully updated to make students industry-ready. Exams are conducted on time and are of moderate difficulty level, so most students are able to pass if they study properly. Overall, the faculty members are good. But the curriculum needs more updates to match current industry requirements.

A college that fulfills our dreams.

Faculty: Faculty of the college is highly qualified, supportive, and approachable. They explain concepts clearly and encourage students to think critically, making the teaching quality quite effective. The curriculum is relevant and updated, helping students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, which makes them industry-ready. Faculty members also guide students with projects, internships, and research work. The semester exams are moderately difficult but fair, testing both the underst...

Just go for it. It's a good college in everything.

Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and good teachers. Our course is curriculum-relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry and for every company. Questions are moderate to hard. About the passing percentage, I don't have any idea because I'm a good student, so I always get good marks, and I don't have any idea about the passing marks.

I would always say that our government college is a very good institution.

Faculty: Our college teachers are very good; all classes are held on time, and doubt classes are always available. Our teachers are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. Yes, there is always practical and fieldwork practice, and this makes the students industry-ready. No, it is very easy, and the pass percentage is 93%.

Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur - value for money and quality education.

Faculty: Teachers are always ready to help. The curriculum is made to complete the syllabus within the stipulated time. Semester exams are always moderate, but they are made easy by our professors. The passing percentage is 30%. The college does mold students to be industry-ready. Whichever firm we choose, their guidance will help us sustain there easily.

A great place to learn, grow, and connect.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive. They use a mix of traditional teaching and modern methods like smart classes, group discussions, and presentations to make learning interactive. Most faculty members are approachable and encourage students to clear doubts and participate in academic activities.

Competitive learning environment, and useful despite some limitations.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our department are experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive. The classes related to media theory and reporting are especially effective. The course curriculum is fairly up-to-date, though it needs more focus on emerging trends. Training or workshops on important software would have been beneficial. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but it is possible to pass with proper preparation. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.

A college to make you a legend.

Faculty: Professors are helpful, and their system of teaching was something else; we got a lot of stuff to know from them. Most of them are Ph.D. qualified. Overall, their behavior and helping nature were too good to be explained. Exams were quite hard, but through their tactics, we always got about 70 to 80% marks in our exams.

It's a good college for every student, and faculty members are too good.

Faculty: Teaching quality was too good, and teachers are also very helpful. They are qualified and too knowledgeable. They help us in our study, in our presentation, and in our assignments. College ready us for the industry. Semester exams are easy, but if you didn't study, it's hurt for you. Passing percentage was 40%. Faculty members are always available. Medical faculty members and sports teachers are also there.

I love my college life very much.

Faculty: Every teacher I had was very good. They taught very well. That’s why I didn’t have any difficulty in completing the course. Everything taught here is useful for the future. There was a little pressure during the semester, but all the teachers were so helpful that I did very well on all the exams.
