Vivekananda College review for B.Com (Hons).

Placements: My college placement for B.Com (hons) is very limited. There are no proper placement opportunities, and reputed companies rarely visit. Few that come are mostly for sales roles, like Bajaj Allianz and HDFC Life, which don't match the career expectations of most students. Placements are limited, mostly sales roles, so higher studies or external opportunities are better.

Review of Vivekananda College, Kolkata.

Placements: In my course, not many students got placed. The placement percentage is very low. There are hardly any companies visiting our campus for recruitment. No big or well-known recruiting companies come, and there are no proper placement drives organized. As a result, students do not get good opportunities or specific roles through college placement. Most of us have to look for jobs or internships on our own outside the campus.

A college that fulfills our dreams.

Placements: In our batch, around 70-75% of students from my course are successfully placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is around ₹10-12 LPA, while the lowest is around ₹3 LPA. On average, most students received offers in the range of ₹4.5-6 LPA.

Just go for it. It's a good college in everything.

Placements: 70% of students are placed in my course. ABP Ananda is one of the top recruiting companies. Roles vary based on everyone's capability and their passion. The package varies based on the job category or post. Basically, if a student wants to do any internship, my college provides internships in various news companies in Kolkata.

I would always say that our government college is a very good institution.

Placements: In this course, 40% of our college students get placed. The fee per semester is ₹5,000, with the highest being ₹6,000 and the lowest being ₹3,500. Good students are recruited by media houses. Around 30 to 40% are recruited by companies like ABP News and Zee 24 Ghanta for roles such as editing, reporting, news office work, and field work.

It is a pathfinder for students.

Placements: 70% of students get placed in our course. 5-7% of students got internships from my college in India Today, Tata Group, etc. Field reporting, content, or desk jobs are the top roles offered in our course. Seminars are the best thing that our course provides to students.

When compared to private universities, the cost of undergraduate courses at Delhi University's Vivekananda College is comparatively reasonable. The annual cost for programs like BA, B.Sc., and B.Com. varies from INR 10,000 to INR 20,000, based on the specialisation and course selected. Vivekananda i

The Placements opportunities are extreme in Vivekananda Coll. The minimum salary of 1.2 Lacs p.a to 3 LPA was offered when I was there.  In my time, I have seen companies Deloitte, Dell, E&Y, HP, TCS, KONE, Fidelity, Officetiger etc. Every year close to around 50 compamies visit the campus for recru
