Overall, a good college for studying and clinical practices.
Placements: I studied at Vyas College of Nursing and graduated in 2024. I am happy to share my experience with you regarding this college. Vyas College is one of the top institutions for nursing in Jodhpur, offering both B.Sc. Nursing and GNM courses. After completing your nursing degree, you become eligible for jobs at leading institutions like AIIMS, NIMHANS, PGIMER, Railway hospitals, GMCH, KGMU and various other central and state hospitals. The salary after completing a BSc in nursing in top government hospitals ranges from 60000 to 1 lakh depending on the institution, following the 7th-grade pay scale.
Infrastructure: The hostels are very good for living. They are well-maintained and located in a peaceful area conducive to studying. The food quality is also good. The college boasts well-equipped classrooms, clinical labs and seminar rooms for clinical case studies and practical training. Overall, the infrastructure is quite good.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified. They are very supportive, guiding students and assisting them in securing jobs at top hospitals. The BSc Nursing program is structured over 8 semesters and with regular study and clinical practice, all semesters are manageable. The college has its hospital, Vyas Medicity, with over 7,500 beds.
Other: The course is highly beneficial because it has a shorter duration and offers excellent job opportunities in top hospitals.
