MBA in Business Management - Batch of 2024
4.2

The best college from my experience.
Placements: We have a summer internship at the end of the first year. Placements are up to the mark and as desired. The average package is around 11 LPA - 15 LPA in a batch of 360 students. Some companies are regular recruiters like Godrej, Loreal, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, Hero, Maruti Suzuki, etc. My summer internship is at Star Media Group with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month in Mumbai. All expenses are born by the company.
Infrastructure: The course remains the same for all the first-year students with 3 trimesters per year. This is to provide the students with an in-depth knowledge of all the topics and subjects. Students get a choice to select the subjects of their choice in the second year. Specialization is decided based on the maximum number of subjects chosen from each domain. The hostel is good and newly built. We have double-sharing rooms with attached washrooms. The rooms are maintained properly and are cleaned every 4 days by the staff. The water facilities are there on each floor.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified for the job. Overall, they are good. Some of the faculty members are excellent in their subjects due to their teaching methodology and understanding of the current generation of students. There are 3 trimesters each year totalling it to 6 in 2 years. The student-faculty ratio is around 1:15. Some good faculty members are also there. 4 specializations are offered by the institute namely marketing, finance, operation & systems, from which you can choose to specialize in your 2nd year.

The College Campus Was Neat and Peaceful
Placements: The placement process starts from the 5th term, which is from the 2nd year onwards. Companies like Tata Capital, Ujjivan, UPL, Sarda Groups, Mahindra Finance, RBL, Axis, Rise African, etc., visited the campus. The highest package was offered by Rise African. Profiles offered include Development, Agri, Finance, Marketing, etc. 100% placement was offered.
Infrastructure: One table, one chair, one bed, and a cupboard are provided, and only double-sharing rooms are available. The meal quality and food menu are also good compared to other college hostels. Hostel accommodation is easily affordable at Rs 25,000 per semester and food around Rs 6,000 per month. I was in the hostel, so I don’t know about any locality for PG. But it will be available around the college.
Faculty: As I completed my Bachelor in Urban Planning, I pursued Urban Management for my master's. The faculty-to-student ratio is excellent, as it is a very niche program, with a ratio somewhere between 1:1 and 1:2. The faculty members are very well-qualified, most of them having completed their Ph.D. Exams are held every 3 months, and the 2 years are divided into 6 trimesters.

One of the best University for MBA.
Placements: At XIMB, 100 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 71.51 LPA from Microsoft, with an average of 20.04 LPA. Top recruiters included BCG, ICICI, Microsoft and Goldman Sachs. Many students received PPOs from internships, with nearly all securing internships at top firms. The roles offered were in finance, operations, marketing, consulting and systems. I have been placed at Vedanta Limited.
Infrastructure: XIMB offers robust facilities: high-speed Wi-Fi, Bloomberg terminals, air-conditioned classrooms, a library, a gym and indoor games. Hostels, with a cost of INR 50,000 per year, are spacious and well-equipped with cupboards, tables and chairs. Students bring personal items like mattresses. The mess food quality is low, offering North and South Indian dishes that vary monthly. Hostel registration is online. Medical and sports facilities are also provided.
Faculty: XIMB's holistic MBA-BM programme, with 105 credits, covers finance, marketing, operations, and systems in the first year. In the second year, students choose majors and minors from 53 electives. With a class size of 60 and a cost of INR 2,200,00 per year, the programme is rigorous and industry-focused. Faculty, all Ph.D. holders, are highly qualified and helpful. Exams, blending theory and practice, are challenging. The pass percentage is 5.5 CGPA.

If I had to give a summary, I would say that it transformed me into a future leader.
Placements: 100% of the MBA (business management) batch secured campus placements. The highest domestic salary was ₹30 LPA. The average salary was ₹19.45 LPA. Talking about the details on specific roles, they might vary depending on the student's specialization and company, but MBA programs typically prepared graduates for roles in areas like marketing, finance, operations, consulting, human resources, and IT management.
Infrastructure: Talking about the classrooms, they had air-conditioned classrooms with LCD projectors, computers, and Wi-Fi connectivity. There was a well-equipped library with a vast collection of books, journals, and databases relevant to business studies, case studies, and magazines. High-speed Wi-Fi access was available throughout the campus, which only students and faculty could access. While there might not be specific labs directly associated with the B.B.M. marketing program, XIMB had departmental labs for other programs, which could be utilized for relevant courses. Information online suggests a mix of old and new hostels at XIMB. Reviews mention clean rooms with basic amenities like Wi-Fi, a geyser, a table, a cupboard, and a chair. Food quality varies based on student reviews, so it might be advisable to get a broader perspective from current students. University provided a medical center on campus. XIMB offered facilities for various sports like cricket, basketball, badminton, etc., along with a gym and provisions for indoor games. For the most up-to-date information on hostel facilities, food quality, and specific sports offerings, it's recommended to reach out to the XIMB admissions office or current students.
