Aspirants cannot get direct admission at XIMB. Candidates are selected based on their entrance exam scores at the first level. Selected aspirants are called for WAT and GDPI round for MBA and EMBA courses. PhD applicants need to pass PI round after selection based on their scores.

To get admission in XIM University, graduation is the minimum qualification. Hence, mere qualifying Class 12 won't get admission in the institute. Candidates need to complete graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for a course. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for reserved category aspirants. Any candidates with 60% in graduation can get admission provided they also meet other selection requirements. Moreover, the admission to PGDM courses at XIM University is totally depends on candidates CAT's percentiles.

X-GMT – XIM General Management Aptitude Test is an online examination conducted for admission to various Master’s degree programmes. Candidates who do not have a CAT/ XAT/GMAT score can appear for this exam.

XIMB admissions are open for 2026 session. Candidates need to fill out the form on the institute's website. The applications are currently open for PhD course. Aspirants need to pay an application fees to apply for a course. Admissions are entrance-based at XIMB.
