For XLRI PGDM admission, candidates are required to apply online, through GMAT for PGDM (GM)/XAT. Candidates can apply for more than one programme at the same time. XLRI course admissions include an application process, shortlisting of candidates, GD & PI process and result announcement. Given below is the step-wise XLRI MBA admission process:

Step 1: XLRI Jamshedpur PGDM Application Process 2026

Candidates seeking admission to Xavier School of Management must apply through XAT. The institute offers admission based on this entrance score only. The step-wise application process is given below:

Step 1.1: Visit www.xatonline.in and click on “Register“ and fill in your basic details such as Name, Email ID, contact details and set password.

Step 1.2: Verify your email by clicking on the link and proceed to complete the application procedure.

Step 1.3: Upload the required documents and hit the 'submit' button.

Step 1.4: Pay the application fee to complete the application process.

Step 2: Shortlisting of Candidates for GD & PI

Based on the information available in the application form and XAT scores, XLRI Jamshedpur will shortlist the candidates for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Apart from XAT scores and screening of applications, XLRI also considers relevant work experience, academic background extracurricular activities while preparing the final list.

Step 3: Result Announcement for Admission

Based on XAT scores, GD & PI performance and other parameters, the school will release the merit list of selected students for final admission. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list are then required to pay the admission fee before the given timeline to confirm their admission.

After final selection, the admission fee or first semester fee has to be paid. The total tuition fee for the PG course ranges from INR 4 lakh to INR 58.8 lakh. This fee range is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
