Tamil Nadu Open University has established the Alumni Association whose objective is to create and establish Alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes, and medals to learners showing high proficiency in studies and honoring university's graduated learners. The association renders financial aid to academically deserving and economically/ socially underprivileged learners.

The application fee for the BSc course at Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute is INR 700. This can be paid online or, alternatively, by drawing a demand draft (DD) of INR 800 in the name of 'Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute', payable at Chennai. The address of the candidate must be filled in on the DD. However, the above mentioned fee is accessed from the official  website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.

Multiple scholarships are available for BSc students at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science. HICAS BSc scholarships are available for meritorious, category and, sports category students. Given below is the list of HICAS BSc scholarships:
