Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result is released by National Testing Agency. CUET syllabus is divided into three sections viz., Languages, Domain Subject and General Test. CUET language section assesses candidate through reading comprehension (factual, literary, and narrative), literary aptitude and vocabulary. CUET syllabus second section- domain subject assesses candidate's in depth knowledge on subject he/she has opted for. CUET third section- general test includes general knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, quantitative reasoning and logical and analytical reasoning. CUET syllabus is available now. BSc admissions at Nehru Arts and Science College are made based on merit in Class 12. Any candidate who has passed Class 12 and obtained a respective HSC certificate is eligible to apply. Applicants are ranked on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12 from recognised boards.

Tamil Nadu Open University has established the Alumni Association whose objective is to create and establish Alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes, and medals to learners showing high proficiency in studies and honoring university's graduated learners. The association renders financial aid to academically deserving and economically/ socially underprivileged learners.
