COMEDK UGET 2015: Documents required for counselling

COMEDK UGET 2015 counselling process is set to kick-off from June 29, 2015 as notified by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). It has been declared that counselling for engineering shall begin first, followed by architecture and medical/dental courses. Check COMEDK UGET 2015 counseling schedule here.
Candidates who have been qualified for admission into more than 150 engineering colleges, 12 medical colleges and 25 dental colleges in the state of Karnataka through COMEDK UGET 2015 test scores, can check the important documents below. These documents are mandatory for every qualified candidates to carry during the process of counselling for verification purpose.
Please note that only the original certificates and one set of attested photocopies of all the documents listed below shall be furnished compulsorily at the time of counselling. Therefore, it is advisable for candidates to have enough photocopies of the original documents for your use until the verification of the documents are complete and returned back.
1. Unique Photo Identity Proof of the candidate
Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) authorities have sternly emphasized on the usage of Photo Identity Proof that has been in use from the time of registrations and qualifying examination (UGET 2015). The similar photo ID of the kind would be used at the time of counselling and admission. Here are the photo IDs which are accepted by COMEDK for the process of registration, examination, counselling and admission:
- Voter ID
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card
- Acknowledgement of Aadhaar
- Driving License
- School / College Photo ID
Meanwhile Parents/Guardians accompanying the candidates should make sure to carry a photo ID proof in original.
2. COMEDK UGET 2015 TAT (Test Admission Ticket) Card
It is a printed online copy which was produced at the time of writing the entrance test on May 10, 2015.
3. COMEDK UGET 2015 – Rank Card
Printed online copy of rank card generated from COMEDK website.
4. Proof of Date of Birth
Class X/ SSLC or School Leaving Certificate or any School or Government record indicating the date of birth.
5. Qualifying Examination Certificate
Class XII/second PUC or equivalent qualifying examination Marks Card. For architecture course (B Arch.) 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central or State Government is also acceptable. (Should satisfy the eligibility criteria). Score Card of National Aptitude Test (NATA) in Architecture conducted by Council of Architecture is also required for admission into architecture course (B Arch.).
6. Mode of Payment
Demand Draft has to be drawn from the nationalized banks in favour of ‘COMEDK’ thereby indicating the Test Admission Ticket Number (TAT No. XXXXXXX) there on payable at Bangalore. Annexure-I of the brochure has listed these banks as acceptable for the issue of demand draft (Andhra Bank, Allahabad Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab and Sind Bank, Punjab National Bank, Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of India, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of Indian, Vijaya Bank).
Annual Tuition fees of MBBS, BDS, BE and B Arch. are as follows:

7. Certificates of Category/Minority/Hyderabad-Karnataka region status
- Candidates belonging to ST/SC and OBC of Karnataka state have to produce Caste/Tribe/OBC certificates issued by competent authority valid for the year of admission, that is, 2015.
- Minority candidates (Christian, Telegu/Tulu) have to issue the certificate only from their respective schools.
- Candidates belonging to Hyderabad-Karnataka region have to produce certificates issued by the jurisdictional Assistant Commissioner of the corresponding Sub division in the district concerned.
Please note that, all the above certificates claiming Category/Minority and Hyderabad-Karnataka region status should be issued in the name of the candidates.
COMEDK UGET 2015 was held on May 10, 2015 for which the results were declared on June 8, 2015. Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) conducts a state-level examination called COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to offer admissions to interested candidates in engineering and medical degree courses offered by colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK.
