Devise a strategy to maintain a balance during the preparation for the board and competitive exams to clear both the exams with high scores.
BITSAT is quite easy as compared to other exams taking the top-notch for students. Preparing for BITSAT could become easier if one prepares well with all the sufficient material and complete the syllabus on time. Moreover, the last week before the scheduled exam is the most crucial time for any student. This is the time when all the theories and concepts should be revised thoroughly to ensure that every topic is memorised. When I was preparing for the BITSAT exam, I followed the same approach to be thorough with the complete syllabus.
Tips on managing time
Time management is yet another important factor in the preparation process. When I was about to give BITSAT, I was also preparing Class 12 ISC sessions. The syllabus of Class 12 board examination was completely different from the BITSAT syllabus. Thus, it was a little difficult to manage.
The students should create a plan to manage time effectively.
Revision Approach/Study Plan
In my opinion, the best book that I also used for my preparation was NCERT books. Although the NCERT books were completely out of the ISC pattern, it became a bit difficult for me to manage different techniques to complete a similar syllabus. The main sections of BITSAT are Physics, Chemistry, Maths English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. I had a few issues with Chemistry and its formulae, I managed to balance it with English Proficiency to get the weightage.
Managing Class 12 and entrance preparation
Like I said, managing Class 12 while preparing for the entrance exam is quite hard, but proper planning and time management could get you along any difficult path. So, if the student is prepared to take any challenges, they would clear the entrance exam. Managing board exams and entrance exams simultaneously is not that easy, however, complete dedication and hard work is the key to overcome any challenge. I preferred to spend my school time covering Class 12 syllabus and evenings to cover the BITSAT syllabus. Further, on Sundays, I used to revise both the parts and tried to balance the studies throughout.
Hence, with step-by-step planning and overcoming simple challenges, a student could get success in the exams.
