JEE Advanced 2016: Expected cut-off trends

JEE Advanced has a bouquet of various types of problems & there are two papers of 3 hrs each. Each paper (P+C+M) comprises of some questions of MCQ – Singe Correct out of 4 choices; some questions of MCQ – Multi-correct; some passage based questions each passage consists of 2 to 3 questions MCQ – Single Correct, some Numerical based questions with Single digit integer (from 0 to 9) as answer & Matrix-Match type questions. Matrix-Match type questions may be in one of the papers. Rest of types listed above may be in both the papers. Some of the questions don’t carry negative marks for wrong answers.

Expected trends for this year – including all the section & cut-off trends
This year too JEE Advanced will have two objective papers (P+C+M) of 3 Hours each. Paper–1 & Paper–2 will be a mix of questions of types MCQ – 1C, MCQ – MC, Numerical based questions, Passage based comprising of 2/3 Questions per passage & Matrix-Match type matched separately or singly all four questions matched with correct answers in one of four choices. There may not be change in cut-offs percentage & may remain same as in last year for various categories – General, OBC, SC/ST, PD etc.
