JEE Advanced 2016 Syllabus and Pattern!

IIT Guwahati will be conducting JEE Advanced 2016 on May 22, 2016. JEE Advanced 2016 Syllabus includes topics from subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These subjects are further divided into various topics.

While Physics is spread over topics like – Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics and Modern Physics, Chemistry is divided into three parts – Physical, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry.

Mathematics too is spread over topics like – Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Differential, Calculus, Integral Calculus and Vectors.

JEE Advanced 2016 Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced 2016 exam will be divided into two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each of the papers will be of three hours duration and remember that both the papers are mandatory.

• Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• The question papers will consist of objective type (multiple choice and numerical answer type) questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
• Negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answers to some of the questions.
• Aspirants must carefully read and adhere to the detailed instructions given in the question paper.
• The question paper will be in either English or Hindi. Candidates must exercise the choice of question paper language while registering for JEE Advanced 2016. Change of question paper language will NOT be entertained after the registration.
