All experiences are lessons for life and basis on this we define our career path, says Ankur Pandey

I have always been passionate about Mathematics as a subject. This interest shaped and laid the foundation for career decisions that I have made so far. Because of my interest in the subject, I chose PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) as my core subjects in Class 12. I have always excelled in Mathematics at my school level and Science has equally been my strength. After the Class 12 exams, every student faces a difficult time of choosing the career and the institute to pursue their interest. I was one of those students. I wanted to move ahead in the field of Science and Engineering and so chose to pursue BTech in Computer Science. Since choosing a college was a tough part, online platforms such as Shiksha.com helped me a lot in making the decision

To secure admission in a good college is every students’ aspiration. This is the first step towards a career of their choice that can help them bring all their dreams to reality. I chose ITS Engineering College to pursue my dream. Though there are many other well-known institutes available across the country but most of them are known for their other programmes. I compared ITS Engineering college with other institutes of the similar domain and realised that the institute offers a great career I engineering with its industry-embedded curriculum and students’ driven approach. Their placements records speak for them. To get admission in the Institute, the applicants have to undergo an entrance examination which is not so easy. To get through the same, I had to go back to my basics to strengthen the same. With the help of Google and some sample test papers and most importantly my abilities, I cleared the exam. Here my journey towards the achievement of my goals begins.

The journey introduced me to a lot of friends with similar interests and supportive faculty members. The curriculum at ITS Engineering College is architectured in a way that focuses on the holistic development of the students. With a perfect blend of theory and practical sessions and group assignments, the management was not only focusing on making us industry-ready but also was enhancing our team management skills. Any corporate environment has people from various races of life and it's important to work in teams as it gives birth to new ideas. Besides the regular routine and curriculum, we have a lot of social activities at college, a well-equipped library with a plethora of e-resources to learn from and modern computer labs for practice sessions. 

Life at ITS Engineering College helped me understand the real meaning of life. The four-years of a graduation life are eye-opener. All experiences whether good or bad are lessons for life and basis on this we define our career path. My journey at ITS Engineering College has turned me into a confident person
