ITS helped me achieve my dreams: Gitanjali Tiwari

ITS Engineering College

I belong to a small town in Uttar Pradesh. My father always had big dreams for me. In spite of economic constraints, he sent me to Lucknow to pursue my schooling. I studied from one of the best school of Lucknow and always scored well. As I always scored well in my entire school life, my father wanted me to prepare for IITs. I too wanted to fulfill his dreams hence I did not left any stone upturned to get into IITs. I took the coaching classes and solved innumerable test series to fulfill his dreams.

I gave entrance tests for IITs and couple of other Engineering examinations. All my examinations went well and I started waiting for the results. When my results arrived, I was happy to see that I had done well but also disappointed at the same time because those marks were not enough to get me in to IITs.

My family was really sad that I could not make it into any of the IITs. Also, I had applied for a couple of other colleges as well. I had the option to prepare for one more year and then again prepare for IIT exams. But that would have wasted another year.

At that point of time a friend of mine suggested me about ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida. Based upon his review I went to visit the campus. I was initially quiet unsure about the college. But when I visited the campus and talked to the college staff and faculties, a sense of assurance came to my mind. I convinced my father to join the college and shifted to Greater Noida. I really felt confident over my decision when the session started.

The college has a great infrastructure with all modern facilities. We were blessed with the most supportive and knowledgeable pool of faculties. Throughout our course we had great lectures and numerous industry interactions. Apart from studies, I have made lifelong friends in my college. We enjoyed our life thoroughly at the college.

We were imparted several technical and soft skills trainings to make us job ready. Various speakers from the industry used to visit the campus on timely basis. Alumni meets also sharpened our knowledge towards the industry. Hence at the time of placements, I was easily able to secure my placement at NIIT Technologies. Now I look back and feel great about my decision of joining the ITS Greater Noida. The college really helped in fulfilling mine as well as my father’s dream.

I am Gitanjali Tiwari and I pursued Computer Science Engineering from ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida. Currently, I am working at NIIT Technologies. My father is a Policeman under Uttar Pradesh Police department and mother is a homemaker.
